Sarah Jessica Parker looks sexy and playful for December's Elle. At the moment she's off in Morocco filming Sex and the City 2 and was also just named to President Obama's Committee on the Arts and Humanities. While she keeps her plate full of philanthropic and career projects, in the magazine, she's all about her role as a mom, talking about her new twin girls and what she loves about the experience. Here are highlights:
- On whether she doesn't like Kim Cattrall: "I don’t think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim. I adore her. I wouldn’t have done the movie without her. Didn’t and wouldn’t."
- On her decision to use a surrogate: "I knew there would be lots of opinions about, 'Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?' and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us. We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence."
- On being a mom: "I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm like a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it."

i love SJP and she looks fab on the cover. if there was really some bad blood between her and Kim, i don't think they would have lasted 6 seasons and 2 movies...
oh and ICK about the diaper smell....

2She has such a lovely way of articulating thoughts and feelings that are complicated, but the diaper thing was a bit much. Even so, her interviews always leave me with a very high opinion of her.

What a let down when we realize the actresses that play our favorite characters are absolutely nothing like them. Carrie would have never done something so ignorant. This almost makes me want to change my favorite actress in the whole wide world. This chic is messed up in the head.
