Britney Spears spent her weekend in Australia after kicking off her Circus tour Friday in Perth. She headed out of her hotel in the city on Saturday, before she's off to make her way to Melbourne for Wednesday's performance. Things apparently got off to a rocky start, as a few government officials contemplated new lip-synching laws to make sure fans were getting their money's worth at her show. There were local reports that some fans were so mad about her lack of singing that they actually stormed out of the show, but Britney's manager went on Twitter to dismiss those stories as inaccurate journalism. Britney has other reasons to celebrate, since the hot video for "3" is number one on iTunes.

1Who were these people that actually thought she was going to sing live? This is Britney Spears! I went to her show in NC and it was great. I didn't go to hear her sing, I went for her performance.

And I don't give a crap how much dancing she's doing..I saw Madonna twice and she sang and danced like crazy both times. One time she even had laryngitis and she still sang...she kept apologizing too. And I'm sorry but if you are a singer I expect you to sing. I saw her on her Circus tour and thought the show was great. I wasn't going to see her, she honestly didn't even have to be there as far as I was concerned - she doesn't interact with the audience and doesn't sing live. I enjoyed seeing the sets and the dancers and hearing her songs.

15About the lip-synch I don't think that is fair for the audience. It's ok if it's about a show like Jay Leno or something, but if it is about their own concert, I believe that they should sing and perform and whatever it is necessary.

18Umm ok I understand that if you are doing really complicated acrobatics or dance moves, sure lip synching is fine. BUT when all you do is moving your arms around abit and move across the stage while your back up dancers do all the freaking work I dont see how hard it is to sing. I mean seriously, is she that unfit? I saw a few clips online and she was terrible.. soooo boring.
19Look at Pink, that girl does crazy amazing acrobatics AND still sings perfectly while flying through the air! That's a real performer, someone I'd pay money to see. *end rant*
