Kanye gave some solid performances last night at the VMAs, but he was less than pleased about losing to JT in 2 categories. Apparently Mr. West had a tantrum backstage, saying, "That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance. I'm trying hard man, I have the ... No. 1 record, man." He followed up today with an interview confirming that he has canceled all his upcoming appearances on MTV, citing a number of grievances against the network. We can understand his frustrations but do you think Kanye is just acting like a big baby?

8He does sound a little whiney. But I agree with some of the things he said. I feel like MTV did use Britney-they shouldnt have put her up there. And Pamela Anderson's "speech" was disgusting...

44i dont understand why people care so much its not like these awards are grammy's or anything. they're probably as valuable as those teen choice awards, except their moonmen and u cant surf on them LOL. so kanye should just let it go. its over. but i still like him more than 50 cent.
45I can't stand him as a person, but his music is alright. It's a shame that too often, talented people run their mouth so much that you just want them to crawl into a cave and dissapear for 5 years (or 10).
46Oh, and his racial comments drive me up the wall. I honestly don't think he necissarily means what he says, he just exploits himself and his race to get press and I think that's really pathetic. Artists need to focus on being artists, not worrying about stirring up drama all the time. Keep it about the music!

48God! It's just a VMA and there's always next year. I think boycotting MTV will make him less likely to win one in the future. He should just focus on turning out good stuff and try to raise the bar. Bottom line is that he shouldn't care what the VMAs think.
