Okay, so maybe (just maybe) Mary-Kate Olsen isn't a totally gifted road to the Oscars actress, but I still heart her in a major way and seeing this full scene of her on Weeds makes me happy. Plus, she looks pretty damn adorable with Hunter Parrish. Lucky for those of us (even if it's just me) the wait for MK's triumphant arrival in Agrestic is almost over - she's on the show starting next week! Olsen voice! You got it, dude!

1I haven't watched any of the 3rd season (I don't have Showtime, or HBO, or whatever channel Weeds is on), but I LOVE this show! I'm watching the 2nd season right now on DVD and it hasn't disappointed.

This clip is NOT a good representation of the show. I won't defend the subject matter to those who disagree with it (it is what it is), but I will say that the show is MUCH more dynamic and interesting than this scene lets on.

25what's with the hostility people? It's not like she's acting out the sinking of Titanic. She's acting like her character and she's giving her voice, so what's the problem??? She deserves credit for breaking out (Finally!) from her sister and getting into meatier roles. Her character may not be the "perfect" christian, but I assure you there are christians who smoke and don't see anything wrong with it so it is a reality.
Also, why are people enamoured with the twins? They are beautiful and smart, interesting and whether anyone on here wants to believe it or not- their fashion sense is unrivaled.

41Well fauxindi, of course everyone's entitled to their own opinions. That's why they have comments on these posts in the first place. But I never did see the appeal of the Olsens, and I think at least for men, the attraction is that there are 2 instead of just one, which automatically doubles the "hotness".
You may think that they are "beautiful and smart, interesting" with great fashion sense, but I beg to differ. I think they are the antithesis of all that. If I had as much money as either MK or Ashley, I would not be dressed as ragamuffins. I think Gwen Stefani, Nicole Richie and even Paris Hilton have better fashion sense than these two.
