A Taste of the Glamorous 2009 CMA Awards!
Stars of the country world came together tonight in Nashville for the 2009 CMA Awards! We'll be back with all the red carpet, show and press room highlights soon, but we're kicking it off with a taste of what to expect. As expected, the two darlings of the genre Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift looked gorgeous on the red carpet and stage while their friend Kellie Pickler showed off her darker hair. Kid Rock also came out for the fun. Check out some early highlights!

The show is so much fun so far. Carrie and Brad are hilarious as the hosts!
1It was so much more fun then any other award shows in recent memory.
2Carrie and Brad have me falling out of my seat.
"I'm not feeling well. Can you feel me and tell me if I'm hot?"
3Love the CMA's!
4The CMA's are great, and I look forward to 'em. But spare us please.....taylor swift is a TERRIBLE singer. Am I the only one who noticed she sang off key everytime she warbled out a 'song'?? NObody sounded anywhere near as bad as she did. I wonder who did all the voting?? and how much they got paid??? What a joke. I'm glad there were some REAL country singers there,,,,ie. Tim McGraw, George Strait, Kenny, Reba..the real ones...not a bunch of wannabes.
5The CMAs catered WAY too much to Taylor Swift. It was disappointing. I honestly think the whole Kanye controversy helped her out big time. I suspect they wanted to create a story of triumph for her. There's no way she deserved top female vocalist. That was a huge slap in the face to all the other nominees. Carrie probably should have won it but no. They give it to the weakest vocalist of all the nominees. I do think Taylor Swift is a sweet girl though and I understand her entertainer of the year win. I just don't agree with her winning anything that has to do with actual singing ability.
