As promised, here are more pics from Tony Bennett's 80th Birthday bash last night in Hollywood. Kelly Clarkson, Stevie Wonder, Marc Anthony and the legend himself all performed. Tons of stars came out to support the famous singer, and Tony supports them right back. Recently the singing legend appeared on The X Factor (the UK version of American Idol) and found that he didn't agree with the way the artists on the show were being treated. He said,
“I’m a little disturbed that the businessmen are making a fortune, but after the first record, they drop the artist and go with the next. It’s not fair because the artists all have such good potential. They all have the possibility of really becoming good performers if they just had the place they could break into and learn how to do it properly.”

1he is from the old school days of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. All the people from back in the day were real men. It is really a shame what a dirty business entertainment has become, the artists are treated like animals, I am glad he had the courage to stand up for them.

16to be honest i didnt know of tony bennet until i saw him on the x factor, i am ashamed to say! but he seems like such a great guy and so honest and pure, a rare breed nowadays!!
