Just when we thought Jessica may actually cut back on her singing career, she signs a new record deal. She became famous by competition in the pop world but didn't become a household name until she was the cute ditsy reality MTV star. Now she will return to her roots (not literally).
There were crazy rumors she landed a $35 million deal which we were a little sceptical of but now the truth is she is leaving her old label of six years to join Epic Records. Jessica said: "Epic is in a new place with a new leader. It just seems the right place for me as I begin my new journey." Looks like someone wants to completely start over their lives in every way possible. No word on how much she landed but they are aiming to have an album out by end of year.
