The stars of Reservation Road showed how well they can clean up at the movie's TIFF premiere yesterday. Jennifer Connelly looked gorgeous in her LWD (although we're a bit confused about her choice of shoes) and Mark and Mira looked fabulous as well. Joaquin wins the most improved award in comparison to the press conference on Wednesday, and gets bonus points for showing off some killer ballet moves. Clearly Joaquin has no problem hamming it up with his co-stars, but got serious when asked how he prepared for the film, saying,
"If you're sitting in the theatre and wondering what an actor did to come up with a performance, or what personal experiences contributed to that performance, you're not in the movie. Hopefully, you should just be lost in that experience."
Joaquin and the rest of this cast have delivered some intense performances in the past, so we can definitely imagine getting lost in this movie. That is of course, if we can get the image of goofy Joaquin leaping across the stage out of our heads.

18OMG Im seriously shedding a tear here, trish!! I absolutely love that scene in the movie as well! His name was Matty! I can hear Jen Garner in her cutesy little voice saying it!! I also love after that scene when you see her go back in the closet and then see that they ended up together and they play Crazy For You by Madonna!!! Sooooo one of my fav songs ever!!!
I still have to watch Walk The Line....I know dont hurt me for not watching it, haha!

35I live right down the road from the Phoenix's. I used to go and see River in his band Alekas Attic (Rain was also a member)back in the day. His other sister Liberty just opened a shop "indigo" in my town that carries cleaning supplies and home improvement items that are safe for the environment. Joaquin comes from an amazing backround and I adore him, and admire him and his family greatly.

48Yea, saw the preview a few nights ago Trishxo - something about Own the night, or They owned the night... Can't remember, but Mark's a cop, Joaquin is in the mob or gang or something like that. Robert Duvall is their father and Mark & Joaquin are against each other... Think it comes out in October... TOTAL DROOLFEST on my end... YUMMY!
