We're in the final hours before New Moon hits theaters. It's been a long run up to the big release — and just think, we'll get to do it all over again in just six months with Eclipse! There is a final screening in NYC this evening, and Taylor Lautner was out at a Calvin Klein store today after a stop at Regis and Kelly. Most of you have already bought your tickets but we want to know — are you checking out a midnight screening?

What about the rest of us who would like to vote "No, I have no interest in seeing it at all?"
Allot of us have waited a REALLY long time to see the books come to life...I am going to the Midnight showing with allot of other people and will probably go and see it again over the weekend. Cannot wait for the DVD release!!! Team ROBSTEN!!!
My roommate is going to a midnight showing because her boyfriend thought it would be funny to do so.
Nope, I live in Germany, it does not come out here until January.
my ticket is for Friday afternoon
I'm never going to see it.
Nope. I'll stay away from the fan girls/women who will be gasping at every second.
nope. never gonna see it
Tragic:
From Rotten Tomatoes on Twitter: The fall continues... New Moon drops to 39% with 44 reviews so far.

Only to throw garbage at the people in line.
I agree with Whiplash! What about those of us who have no interest in this movie at all and will never see it?
No but I'm taking my roommate tomorrow nite... I expect the throngs of screaming girls will still be out by the thousands. But for this kind of movie I think that's part of the experience, when the hype far outweighs what's deserved... I'm looking forward to seeing it from the fangirls' perspective (like when people get to see a Pumpkins show with me, they appreciate it a little more thru my eyes
)
Nope, Friday afternoon for us! I went on opening day when Twilight came out and it was hilarious and awesome. The teens were so excited, it was just fun to be in that atmosphere of the squeals and screams when Rob came on screen. I'm pumped, even if the movie isn't amazing.
I'm guessing they assume that anyone who has no interest in seeing the movie at all, has no interest in reading the article, either... but perhaps that's just using common sense that not everyone is capable of using themselves. *Shrug*
Heck yes i'm going! my friends and i got our tickets about 2 months ago and have been counting down ever since!
I was going to say the same thing that comment 14 said.
anyway, i have tickets for tomorrow night.
I am against my better judgement. I am praying that the screaming children will be at home so i can see the movie and hear it too. I'm ready to start yelling at those who cannot control their hormones when Robert comes on screen. I'm going to throw down!
Am I the ONLY one who thought the first movie was HORRIBLE and feel asleep halfway through!? Worst movie I ever saw Acting/script/directing. Just horrible.
no - unfortunately , now that we have newborns -midnight showings are out. luckily though - grandma is going to babysit on saturday and we're going to see it during the day. I CAN'T WAIT!
I will be at a 12:01 show. Partially because I can't wait to see what they do with the second book, partially because I was talked into it. I would have gone next weekend otherwise. Oh, and I'm not a teenage girl and I won't be gasping or screaming when any of them come on screen. The story is fun and a good fantasy.
ilanac13 - newbornS?? Twins or better? Congrats.
where's the I'd rather poke my eyes out with a fork option?
Absolutely! Counting the hours now, I have just about 7 hours to go can't wait!!
I saw Twilight at the midnight showing and never again. It had to be the worst movie going experience of all time. In addition to the screaming the talking, and the girl in front of me texting the movie to her friends. When I asked her to stop her mother got up and started screaming at me, a woman with another group then got up to get an usher which incited the woman screaming at me to throw a box of candy at her. The candy hit someone else who then jumped up and dumped a soda on her head. It was a nightmare. I'm waiting until next week. I don't think I can deal with the craziness again.
It's going to be a LONG night, but totally worth it! Checking out Twilight at 9P and then New Moon at 12:01A!
Never. Why wasn't that an option??
My girlfriend and I are going next Tuesday, in the middle of the day, and at a 21 and up movie theater (they serve booze). We aren't taking any chances for screaming teenagers to be there.
I live in France so that doesn't concern me as I have already seen it ! Lucky me ! I was afraid to see some twihard fans in the audience but it was ok.
I took my 17 year old niece to see Twilight when it premiered and we had to sit in the second row...my neck was killing me. It was also really annoying having the entire audience oohing and aahing and screaming. Ugh. So I will be taking her next weekend...hopefully that will have died down. I also bought the Twilight Scene It DVD game so we can play when we get back to my house..LOL!!!! My husband is going to roll his eyes the whole night..ha!
Oh and when I went it wasn't kids that were screaming about Edward..it was grown women!!!
im not going at midnight but i will be watching it friday night just hope there isnt too much screaming and that i can actually hear the movie
Will be watching it on Saturday.
Yes, I will be there. Very excited!
No interest in this over-hyped tween movie. After this, are we going to be tortured with previews for the next 6 months!
I am going at midnight. I really hope there is no screaming from all the obsessed fans because I will be pissed. On the upside, today is Thursday which is student discount day at my theater so I only paid 7.50 for the ticket instead of 10.50
nope, have no desire to go stand in crowded lines tonight. I'm going tomorrow afternoon hopefully the time will good and all the teeny boppers will still be in school ha-ha
I've done so Wednesday night and it was amazing, great atmosphere, though the hysterical teenage girls annoyed me at times. But I haven't had the time to recover from the sleep deprivation yet, so I feel like crap, but no regrets whatsoever.
As soon as the movie started, the annoying teens were enthralled and pretty much silent for the rest of the film. It was really good - it will meet your expectations if you want to see it.
Went to the midnight showing last night and it was definitely worth it. And we didn't have much trouble with crazy tweens making any noise during the movie.
maybe
