Avril once again showed us she can be a pretty, sophisticated lady. The punk pop star attended the premiere of Fast Food Nation at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood this weekend. Fast Food Nation is Avril's big acting debut. We like when Avril dresses up and acts classy, rather than being trashy and spitting on the paparazzi. Let's hope that was just a one time thing, and that we get to see more and more of the grown up Avril looking chic and acting like a lady.

12PR made in that she (& her whole image) were sculped by her agent & the studio. She was originally supposed to be a country singer, but her people decided to make her the "anti-Britney" pop star. There is an interview in Rolling Stone that tells the story. She definately is a pop star but the whole idea of her being "punk" is complete BS. In the interview she admits that she had no idea who Sid Vicious was & that she had never heard a Clash song until on of her bandmates gave her a CD for x-mas. I will willingly admit that she is a pop princess but that is it.

27Avril looks a hell of a lot better in these photographs than I've seen her in the past. She appears to be the antithesis of the old Avril. Keep it up. Although I wouldn't characterise her appearance as being "flawless," she looks ten times better and more feminine.
