Jennifer Lopez is hard at work rehearsing her performance for the American Music Awards this Sunday. We'll be there covering the red carpet and big show, but here's a sneak peek at what to expect from J Lo. She'll be singing her new track, "Louboutins," wearing — what else? — a pair of Christian Louboutins designed especially for her.
Stay tuned for tons more coverage from the AMAs, but first listen to Jennifer Lopez's new song and let us know what you think about "Louboutins" — does it make you want to hit the dance floor or leave the club?
Terrible.
1lmao, stop it...she's kidding, right?
2she is ridiculous.
3So sick of songs about shoes.
4lame
5Wow, this song repeats so much it's ridiculous.
6Well, to be honest I've never been a fan of her music. Or her movies. But this still sucks hard.
7Wow, she needs to give it up. You're not 22 Jennifer.
8I'm sick of hearing about these shoes. Could she not find anything else better to sing about then shoes everyone else wears.
9Its funny how other people don't like this song, it's just their opinion, or some are just being bias. They say the song is repetitive, but other music such as Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" or "Paparazzi", those song are even worse, they repeat the same verse time and time again, same thing with Britney Spears' with "3" i mean seriously, "1,2,3..."
10This song has real potential. Strong chorus, strong lyrics to back it up. Its a complete hit. Its catchy and it has the "classic" Jennifer Lopez to it.
I give this songs kudos =]
Terrible. The auto tune is obvious, her lyrics are atrocious. I guess being married to a zombie makes you lose most of your brains and whatever little talent you had to begin with.
11im offended for my louboutins that such a song is about them
12When is she going to up this music career. Her songs have been awful.
13I'm sorry but the song is horrible.
14Eck! This is terrible! And why is she still making music? I thought she wasn't "J-Lo" anymore.
15That was painful.
16Awful!
17And such blatant product pushing! I'm really unimpressed.
is it me or is she saying "lo-be-tans"
18Must be the J-Ho from the block talk!!!
um, i'm mad i adjusted my computer volume and paused my CNN watching so i could listen to that.
if no one liked it, who is supporting this lady? people must like her music b/c somehow she has a music career. i'm baffled, really.
19errrr.. this is a song?? where's the melody?!
20I'm not feeling this at asll.
21So much for "Jenny from the Block"...
22Why is she singing about shoes, never even heard of Louboutins! Worst song ever and she gets paid for this! I'll take my Skechers any day!
23Shallow! She does look cute in this picture
24I'm surprised Christian Louboutin isn't offended by this song. She can't even pronounce "Louboutin" correctly, and the way she pronounces makes them sound dirt cheap! I thought I might try to like the song. I have nothing against her, but her voice has never appealed to me, and the first few times of hearing her say "taking" annoyed the heck out of me. Sure, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears repeat themselves in their songs, but I don't find their voices annoying. J. Lo's voice though, for some reason, grates on my nerves when she sings.
25Cesar T.- the difference is, those songs actually sound good, so the repetitiveness is enjoyable.
FaerieBlu- you've never heard of Louboutins? Have you been living under a rock?
26Tricky and Dream produced this and I have to admit the track is great... but the lyrics and her v oice and especially the lyrics are so played out lol. jenny
27wow. bad. just bad.
goin on my loobeetans. ha.
28I'm speechless..
29I respect Jennifer for how hard she works and what she has achieved..
BUT..her music has no depth, has not evolved..
Hard work can only get you so far..
If there is no talent...THERE IS NO TALENT!!!!!
If this is the best she can do..
Well then she should retire and stop churning out garbage.
at first i really didn't know what she was saying...je pense qu'elle veut dire louboutin, oui? mais je ne comprends pas ce qu'elle dit...i can't figure out what her problem is. why is she 40 and still making music like she was 25? just not hot. move on. grow up.
30My ears are bleeding! This and her other song about hot out of oven makes my eyes bleed.
31My ears are bleeding! And her acting isnt any better!
32Glamorously, I posted my comment without reading your post! lol
33Alot of bleeding ears here.
OMG she needs to put down the mic because she has never been a good singer. people bought into her sex appeal, her bling, the cars, & her many husbands and somehow turned her into a huge star. but why????
34Tell me this song is a joke, please! I feel embarassed on her behalf. Seriously, can't people in her environment, including her husband, tell her how increadibly stupid this sounds? If the majority of Popsugar readers can tell that this stinks, why can't people who are supposed to know music???
35I want to go and hide under a carpet out of pure shame. What's with the shoes? Is she just bragging about her expensive stuff or do the shoes have some kind of a hidden meaning that I've completely missed?
36Good heavens, someone please tell her that she is no longer the triple threat she thinks she is. This is a b*tchslap in the face of Mr. Christian Louboutin
37she needs to stop... and act her age. seriously.. OMG!!
38why all the time ure talking about her age?? she`s 40 not 60!!! and so what,if she still got the looks and a body to die for and talent she can show it then. Madonna is over 50 now and still doing the same thing. Leave the girl alone. Nice to have you back J.lo,don`t take notice of what people r saying their just jelouse of you lol
39Unless those Louboutins come magical talent-inducing abilities, I'll pass on this.
40every time she says 'am going on my loobetans' is like a drill through my brain!!!!!!!
jlo..lola..jenny from the block..whatever name u go by these days.. u have alot of money to hire good writers & composers..what's wrong with u..
41plz either do a better job nxt time or just save ur breath & go away already..
I'm usually not a Jennifer Lopez hater, and for the most part have enjoyed her music in the past. This song is a different story though. It is just not good. It's not that catchy, and way too repetitive.
42i'm still confused about how this song got produced with "Louboutin" mispronounced.
43me encanto su single ,que rico que vendra a chile para conocerla
...le verdad me
encantan todas sus canciones
44dont be haiting on her Damn low life ass people. She is doing her thing i love it this song is going to be big. She has all bronx for her.
45Wow, the worst song I have heard of JLo.. and I like her.. but this song.. it was hurting my ears..I have to admit.. after she got married to Marc Anthony, her music has not been the best.. oh well.
46Oh Please Britney S sounds like a chipmunk and Gaga is always falling on stage at her concerts.Like any of you can actually afford the damn shoes.lol Love the track, J.lo is beautiful and this song is going to be a big Hit.By the way Christian Louboutin loves the song!
Do your thing Jennifer, you are on fire! Jealous b*tches!
47When I first heard this song I thought she was singing "Louis Vuittons" because of the terrible mispronunciation of "Louboutins". The French pronunciation of "tin" is "tan", not "tawn". Of course we have seen this happen before with the movie "Moulin Rouge" where "Moulin" was mispronounced as "Moo-lawn" (even by the movie's director!) instead of the correct pronunciation of "Moo-lan".This just proves to me that JLo and Baz Lurhman have neither class nor education. Certainly people must have corrected them along the way--did they just ignore it?
48uh, anon 12/23 12:03pm, just b/c they pronounce it incorrectly doesn't mean they don't have class or education. the song sucks, but this is a bit snobbish
49Anyone who can afford to wear Christian Louboutin shoes and has the inclination to do so should be able to pronounce it correctly. The shoes themselves are snobbish, LOL.
