I think it's high time for Britney to stop thinking that "being sexy" is the way for her to make a come-back. She needs to grow up, be a mother, make a decent album and forge an image around that new identity. It should be clear to her - as it is to everyone who has watched her over the past three years - that the days of the teen idol are over, and that the key to being truly sexy is not in how little you wear - or even how tight your abs are - but in how you conduct yourself.

She is smart to at least try to do damage control but I really don't think Maxim is the right path to take.

NO, I personally didn't find anything wrong with her appearance (as in I really don't think she looked fat for having had children or not) on that night other than the skanky outfit so don't know what bunch of photoshopped pictured would achieve. The only thing that can really redeem her mis putting on a GREAT performance and maybe even singing live (ok so that's a stretch.)

Maxim targets men and they aren't her audience so no it won't save her. Like really do you think looking good o covers will save her cos if so then Allure should have done that trick. Photoshop can't gloss over her megastupidity and incompetence, general sloppiness and unhygienic demeanour in every day life.

I know a lot of people want to hate on Britney, but the reason why it was such a disappointment on MTV, because most people still feel she has it. "Gimme More" isn't a bad single and they were really waiting for her to steal the show. She still can be hot, she needs to loose a few lbs, because photoshop will be "TOO" obvious. Go on a diet, look sexy, and try to redeem yourself Britney, while you still have some sort of a career left. Oh and Timbaland is waiting for his apology. Swallow some pride. He resurrected Nelly Furtado's career for goodness sakes. Imagine what he can do for you.
