Christina Aguilera and Tony Bennett performed "Steppin' Out With My Baby" side by side at the Emmys tonight and just exuded old school lounge singer glamor. While it was certainly beautiful and these two have amazing voices, the performance wasn't totally exciting. Maybe pregnant Christina is taking it easy with the dancing these days. Check it out below and do tell - did you love Christina & Tony's duet?

It was a great classy performance just like Tony is. Christina looks great and is totally preggers.
I think she just said she's pregnant...not in the conventional way tho....
l liked it...make up your mid Pop...mtv too busy...and this too drab???
*Molly
totally agree, snore
but christina looked beautiful
uh when did you see Christina dancing Molly?
Their voices are beautiful, but it didn't seem like either was much into it.
Their voices are amazing, and they work well together, but it was missing something.
christina looks preggers, and i liked the performance a classic twist on a performance
i thought it was really good,
I loooved Christina's dress, def. preggers hahaha
I want to see this...when does this come up during the show..I can't see the video..
It was fun old world entertainment, she can really sing, but I agree, it lacked pizazz. Then again she is pregnant and he is oldish..... so there you go, what should anyone expect? Good singing.
Christina's voice sounded amazing as always, but let's not forget that Tony Bennett is 80 years old. What were you expecting, him to swing her around the dance floor? The most important thing is that they sounded good, after all they are singers.
They sounded amazing and Christina will never have to rely on dancing because she can sing unlike some popstars and has beens of today
they both have amazing voices....and I agree Tony Bennett is 80 and Christina is 20 something....so the chemistry was not quite there
It didn't have to have pizazz. This was about the voices.
I thought it was kinda sweet.
she looked gross to me. her skin "color" is nasty, her hair looked like sh*t. ugh. i really cant stand her.
I love christina here- she looks and sounds so good and classy.
it was about the voices, plus it's the Emmys not the VMAs, i think the performance was suited to the event - classy and professional
is there something that i need to download in order to see this video?? I think I missed it during the show...
Tony seemed out of it and his voice not so good. He's getting old...but Cristina did well, I didnt like her climbing and standing on the piano, scary since she's pregnant! but she sang well as usual. I've seen the special where they did this song and it was much better. But I hated the dancers, just didnt seem right and it was distracting.
I thought she looked gorgeous and as for the performance, the best way to describe it would be mature. I thought it was really good. You don't need to show your dance moves every time you sing to make it a good performance.
she looked beautiful, but i could barely here much from tony.
christina is lovely
I liked it. I don't think Christina could've done too much, seeing that she's pregnant, though. I thought it was a nice performance.
I think this video isn't as good quality as it came from the TV set, though. ;O
I thought Christina sounded great.
I thought she looked gorgeous, but it was as if she had too much voice for the song.
I thought it was a beautiful performance. It was an odd thing to put the 2 rows of dancers in front of them, but I guess today's audiences need to have something moving in order for it to keep their attention.
I thought she looked great (could have toned down the fake tan, though). I thought her dress and hairstyle were very classy and perfect for the evening.
I love Christina but I could do with out Tony. Not to sound ageist, my grandmother listens to his music, so I don't think he's that relevant. I did really love it when Christina sang the words, "Steppin' out with my baby"...I was like yeah, she literally is!
Christina is great, but I don't like it when she drags out her words all the time
classy AND chic
I felt like they were mismatched. Christina, while she has an amazing voice, seemed like she was trying to "out-sing" TOny.
I would leave it, considering that song reminds me of Sanjaya (didn't he sing that...?)
Tony is great but this is just a bad match. Christina does her own thing and her voice is good but she belongs in the pop/ghetto vibe music genre. She exaggerates her voice way too much. It's too strong to sing with someone more classic/jazz like Tony. They should've put him with a more classical singer like Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, or a jazz singer like Renee Olstead, Jane Monheit, Diana Krall, or Madeleine Peyroux. Christina needs to stop acting like she's made of any class. The girl is still Diirty!
it was a little too dull. :-[
We'll never see the whole "Christina" when she preforms with Tony, but I thought it was cute. I think her dress was adorable.
I agree with i_love_miu & Jillness...
Christina looked great & sang wonderfully as always...It's a jazz song & I don't think they needed to dance although I agree the rows of performers were unncessary...
I think it was great and appropriate for the event. Seeing as a tv special featuring Tony Bennett was nominated. That's why the performance together! This isn't the MTV awards, plus who the heck wants to see a 5 month or so pregnant woman dancing are you serious?????
the song wasn't fantastic, but whatever she did, she couldn't do worse than Britney!
There was nothing special about it. i was bored, and the song was dull.
Oookay! Nanny Diaries it is! Becoming Jane... we'll have a sleepover when it comes out on video. paint each other's toenails and such. and such as.
Christina looked great and what a voice. I think she is so talented, she could sing any genre of music. Jazz is definitely her thing.
I loved it!
Chrisina's voice is built for jazz. I saw her once at Lillith Fair (before Genie in a Bottle) and she was belting out some Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald acapella. It's nice to see her back in that genre. I think that's why I really liked her latest album.
she's an amazing singer. they're both really talented. i thought their performance was appropriate and balanced.
I think they are both very talented, but I didn't think it was a good match. She seemed to overwhelm him a bit. I love them both solo though. The performance just seemed sort of out of sync.
She's great but he's an old fart. He needs to retire.
She's pregnant she has to take it easy, so I liked it. And she looked cute in that dress.
I didn't notice this, as gig said: "I love Christina but I could do with out Tony. Not to sound ageist, my grandmother listens to his music, so I don't think he's that relevant. I did really love it when Christina sang the words, "Steppin' out with my baby"...I was like yeah, she literally is!"
SO true! She really is steppin' out with her baby
A very good show!
