Michael J Fox showed off his skills on the guitar this weekend at A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's 2006 Benefit. So cute - reminds us of his days on stage at Hill Valley's High School dance in Back to the Future. Axl Rose and Sheryl Crow also took the stage with Michael at the Beatles-themed fundraiser, bringing in more than $5 million for his foundation. I would have never figured Axl to be part of this crowd but apparently it was a no brainer for him to be there. People reports:

Axl Rose, a surprise guest, took the stage at the Waldorf-Astoria Ballroom to sing McCartney's "Live and Let Die." Why the performance? "Michael had asked," Rose told PEOPLE. "We actually used a sample of Michael J. Fox from (his film) Casualties of War in one of our songs that will be on the new album. So I felt, one, I've always been a fan of his. And I also feel for the guy and his situation. I'm for stem-cell research, so I just thought it would be wrong not for me to come when I was asked."

Muhammad Ali, Famke Janssen, Ryan Reynolds, Susan Sarandon, Denis Leary and Rob Thomas were all at the event as well. More pics so read more
