It's December, which means it's time for PopSugar Network's Best of 2009 coverage! Along with polls and slideshows, we'll be bringing you PopSugar's biggest headlines of the year.
It was the biggest are-they-or-aren't they question of the year — are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dating in real life? In the run-up to New Moon's release, it seemed like everyone was speculating about whether or not Kristen and Rob acted like Bella Swan and Edward Cullen offscreen. We got to see Robert and Kristen as they wrapped up promotion of Twilight earlier this year and as they headed to Vancouver to film New Moon in the Spring. During breaks from the set, the duo shared nights out together and even shared cab rides home. They were soon off to Italy, where it was time to film their passionate scene with a hot shirtless Rob. Once that movie wrapped, it was time to make the awards show rounds for Twilight. Robert and Kristen made a memorable appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, where they showed off their obvious chemistry while accepting the Best Kiss honor before evidently spending that night together.
The duo split up for a good chunk of the Summer, as she stayed in LA to work on The Runaways and Robert headed east to film Remember Me. They reunited at Comic Con before the Teen Choice Awards and the VMAs, where they looked too cute together backstage. Soon they were off to Vancouver for Eclipse, kicking things off with a Kings of Leon show before filming began — Robert and Kristen also raised a few eyebrows by looking extremely close throughout the show. The work never stopped for Robert and Kristen because after finishing up on Eclipse they were off to promote New Moon with cozy-looking stops across the globe. Soon, everyone from Jennie Garth to Catherine Hardwicke were weighing in on their situation. The evening Robert and Kristen were spotted holding hands at Heathrow didn't do much to cool speculation that the duo was together — and, conveniently, all the wondering likely helped make their film a hit. Robert and Kristen don't seem to be leaving each other's sides anytime soon, as they were just spotted arriving at LAX together before Thanksgiving.

These two are far beyond 'dating'. They had an instant attraction 2 yrs ago and have been together for a LONG time. As KStew said ad nauseum in recent interviews about her relationship with RPattz, she wants to keep "something for herself." That's why they're keeping it on the DL and he also has some very psycho fans. Their relationship is the ONLY private thing they have left and is obviously very special to them.
12To silver...there were several unrelated tweets that saw them together at Bobby Long's concert Sat. night in LA, they were behind the stage curtain. They are experts at hiding from the paps and fans now.
13i love how they;ve managed to keep things private for their own sanity - or attempt at it. i think that people are so used to everyone just commenting and saying yes or no all the time that it's just an oddity that they've chosen not to talk about it. i hope that they continue to be happy and maybe we'll have them at the top of headlines for 2010 as well

15There's always a huge problem in the part of Rob. The fans are split in many ways with Twilight saga supporters. First there are fans who only support Kristen and just happy without Rob for real romance, there are fans who will be happy called as team Jacob, there are fans who are more happy to have team Edward or Robsten for real but the other group of fans who prefers Rob not to be with her or anybody else are huge in numbers and career wise in the part of Rob being the most desirable hearthRob for the moment and he hasn't started yet shooting two to three films in which he is contracted to do until 2011, he must remain single and available in the eyes of these fans who must support his last film in the market. Rob has just started his popularity with the speed of the light and he has to strike while the iron is hot. Even Kristen wants to shout to the world that she owns Rob, for the moment there must be some precautions that they have to keep and by not declaring or getting less appearances thru pappz. That's why Rob said to one of his interview that he prefers a girl who must have a lot of patience and that I supposed has nothing to do with his stubborness but his actual situation of his career which is tough to deal with if he is in relationship. Although I find Kristen as his ladyluck or lucky charm on his career, I can't help but doubtful with the durability being both so young and not easy when one is British with different life style he used to have in London. Being slightly seen of their relationship can as well one way to play safe when things wouldn't work between the two of them.

31The only reason I can just think of their keeping the "secret relationship" is to add more fuse and promote the twilight series. Let's be rational, summit still have at least 2 more movies waiting to be shown in 2010. They do need this speculation to keep going on the heat. However, I don't think their relationship will last long, considering they are both young and the male is so popular that he may not settle on only one woman in this early age so soon, especially in the Hollywood industries, so many temptings. Please give me one sample which hot hollywood actors have settled down on their lovers forever in this early age....But as I said the above, their "relationship" is going to be last at least 1 or 2 more years more, they would fake it even they broke up becoz for the movies, twihards and the request by summit.

36Ohh I really think they are hiding out together. Much the same way they did during the 8 week filming of Eclipse. Rob had a hard summer with the papz and overeager fans in NYC, Kstew same (not as bad tho.) so they were eager to get out of the public eye. Same thing going on now--The huge new Moon promos, appearances, interviews. They are so ready to take a break before going to filming their respective movies in 2010. Good luck to them.

Of course this is the biggest headline of 2009, why? because the WHOLE WORLD is tired of hearing celeb news about Paris hilton and her sexcapades, Lindsay with her addiction and party lifestyle, jen aniston and her miserable lonely single life, Bragelina who is aging, Disney princesses who poses fakey smiles and twitters, not to mention the lifestyle of HW men changing girlfriend like changing clothes and lets not start with Televison crap actors and actresses (cough Goslin, cough Speidi). For the past how many years, the people have distanced themselves from hearing the same old crap in HW. Then suddenly news of Robsten came along, and we are suddenly glued to the net because there's something REAL and GENUINE about their relationship that everyone can relate to because most of us has experienced having a relationship with someone. As most people say, they are a breath of fresh air. So my advise to the celebrities: KEEP IT REAL.
