Nick and Vanessa spent all weekend celebrating their same birthday with several parties. The two dined at Koi last week, and then jetted off to Vegas to party over the weekend. But the weekend doesn't sound like it was as much fun for Nick as it was for Vanessa. TMZ reports:
The couple continued their never-ending birthday celebration in Sin City, where Vanessa and seven of her closest friends met up for a night of fine dining and fun. First stop was TAO Bistro, where the group dined on Chilean sea bass, satay chicken, pad thai noodles and some good 'ol Kobe beef. Afterward, the ladies headed upstairs to TAO nightclub, where Nick joined them around 1:30 AM. No word on why Nick missed dinner, but from the look of the pictures, Lachey wasn't in a party mood.
Vanessa seemed to be affected by Nick's bad mood -- she wasn't having as much fun as she'd been having with her chums prior to his arrival. Two hours later, the couple headed out, with Nick avoiding photogs by hiding behind two gigantic bodyguards.

1It won't happen but I like them better together than these two. I don't know why, but these two just seem like a really wierd couple to me.
2Yes, I really agree. I try to stay neutral about Vanessa...I thought maybe I was partial because I love Jessica, but I think you're right - it's just weird. And ever since I read something about her having a really big head, that is all i think of when I see VM. I feel mean saying that.

14I agree he loved Jess but honestly I think he's moved on from her now. There was nothing more he could do to save the relationship and I think being out of that bubble he gets a chance to really look back at what a circus the Simpson clan was and can now see Jess for what she became. She's definitely not the same person he once loved.

16I love the phot whre she is laughing and he is looking at her like how the heck did I end up here? And I totally agree about the body language she is leaning into him where he is stiff and his smile looks forced as well. I think she loves him more than he does her.
17Vanessa is a USER,you never saw photos of her in mags,now all of a sudden she has a publicist? she was just a VJ,now all of a sudden she wants to act? she is milking this relationship with Nick for all it's worth.Nick made Jessica famous (nobody knew who she was until he started to date her)and now Vanessa is trying to reep some benefits of her own.She's not sincere @ all,she's in love with the attention she's getting,not Nick.
18I don't want to sound mean, but I think Nick can do better. He just seems like a really down to earth type of guy, and Vanessa seems like an ambitious girl, doing whatever she can to get to where she wants to be. I also think he's much better looking for a guy, than she is for a girl. If she had an awesome personality, I would be happy that he was with her, regardless of her looks. But she does seem like she is the one that forced herself on him, when he was vulnerable. And now, he's used to her, so he figures, what the heck...until something better comes along...

20On this site, Nickfanatic.com, a poster actually was there, has her own personal photos, and recap of them, and it's clear that there wasn't any tension between them. They were kissing and he had his hand on her butt. You do however, have to be a member of that board to view them.

22I have heard a lot of different stories about this night. I think people are trying to read into too much. So if someone does not put on a happy face all the time, that means they are sad? I do not have a smile on my face every second. People are just trying to make something to gossip about. It reminds me of how Brad and Angie "hate" eachother because they are not always touching.
Not everybody walks around with a fake a ss smile a la Jessica Simpson
23Blah! I do believe that she is more into him that he is with her. I saw him on a radio station the other day and he freaked out when some one said he had found love again. He said "I WOULDN'T SAY ALL THAT" Nick and Jessica back together would be wonderful, but it's not going to happen.
Just like Reese and Ryan.
24He doesn't seem to be the partying kind of person. Vanessa definitely is.
