in this day in age, celebrities will do whatever it takes to protect their "brand." the obvious assumption here is that tiger and his wife were having a heated arguement about his alleged cheating story, which broke two days ago. they obviously had a bust up, which led to him leaving the house. he was probably frazzled and slammed into the tree, and she came after him with the golf club.

Husband, recently publically accused of having an affair, runs out of house in middle of the night. Car crashes immediately into two solid objects. Wife standing over husband with golf club claiming she smashed windshield of car AFTER the accident to save husband. #1 So why did he lose control of the car? #2 Why did he need to be saved from an immobile car? #3 Does this make any sense? #4 Does anyone buy this? Picture this: husband runs out of house pursued by wife waving golf club/husband gets into car to escape but wife beats on car causing him to loose control/wife continues to hit car and breaks window/car continues to hit objects. Now they're standing in the street as they hear sirens coming and they think, what will we say happened?
