Lucy Liu and her Cashmere Mafia co-star Bonnie Somerville were dressed to the nines on the set in NYC yesterday. Patricia Field and the masterminds over at ABC must be hoping to use the characters' elaborate wardrobes to get our attention. It's worked before and therefore they are obviously being compared to the SatC ladies. We can't help but wonder what the shoe discussions would be like if all these working women ran into each other on their sets. Fall TV has just started but unfortunately we're going to have to wait until November to see Cashmere Mafia.

18i hope this isn't a knock off of SatC, however, i love love LOVE lucy liu and will def. give the show a chance. if the writing isn't good then forget it. that's what it comes down to. that's what held up SatC. anyway, comparing it to SatC is dangerous. it cuts off a huge loyal SatC fan base. so they better think of a better way to promote the new show.
19I will probably never watch it, but I like the name Cashmere Mafia. Wouldn't be the same if it was Fuzzy Intrigue, would it.
20I think if they want to by NYC accurate, Lucy Liu's character would be wearing shear black stockings and darker shoes. Especially if it's supposed to be fall.

24Love Lucy Liu. I'll watch it and see what happens. I know I thought Grey's Anatomy was going to be a bore but to my surprise, I was hooked like a fish after the first show.
25yeah to me it does seem a bit like SATC knock-off especially now that SATC girls are shooting their movie right now so you can't help but compare!
