Nicole and Joel were spotted at LAX leaving the city after a busy few days of interviews and shows. Good Charlotte opened for JT at the Staples Center this week and we hear it was quite a show. The brothers also stopped by Ryan Seacrest where Joel opened up on love, marriage and babies. We've heard the engagement rumors but now here's the latest from Joel himself. He said:
"Obviously, marriage is in our future.. I don't know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby.... That's all we've been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.... I'm excited. We are all really excited about it... Its the best thing that has ever happened to us. It's awesome."
Apparently they don't know the sex of their future newborn but the baby is kicking and they have started to prepare by shopping at Target and purchasing a stroller and a playpen. It may be hard to picture tattooed rocker Joel as a daddy pushing a baby in a stroller but in just a few short months we'll be seeing it for reals!

He actually seems very much like a wuss. And just because he is a "rocker" doesn't mean that his band doesn't A) SUCK, and B) HAVE ANY SORT OF TOUGH STREET CREDIBILITY. What, every father is supposed to work in finance or is suppposed to have a business degree and wear Eddie Bauer clothes and fit that template???? 14Pregnancy really suits Nicole. However she should totally go back to the bob haircut! And them buying a stroller and playpen at Target??? I highly doubt it. First of all, who even buys playpens anymore....do they even still make them? And Target for a stroller? I am sure she'll be at Petit Tresor.
15IMO, these two get more likeable with every passing day.
(Not saying this is what these two did) I don't think it's a good idea to have a baby to try to change your life, but sometimes, that's how things happen to work out.

18The story doesn't say we can't picture a tattooed guy in general pushing a stroller, it says we can't picture tattooed rocker JOEL pushing one. Him specifically.
19Besides all that, I have a question...why is she still getting on planes? That could be damaging to the baby, depending on what stage she's in. Not wise at all. But I do think they are cute together.
20Flying is safe throughout pregnancy, although often not recommended in the last trimester. You simply have to be sure to move around a lot.
I'm due right around the same time as Nicole and I just flew last weekend with three doctors' full approval.
21He's still not my cup of tea but he looks so much better all covered up like that! And they are starting to grow on me as a couple as well! Not fully but almost there, lol! I can't wait to see this baby though!

23They're shopping at Target??!! Wow, even I didn't get my baby goods at Target! Not the major things anyway.
24They call playpens "pack n plays" now. It's more PC than calling something you put a kid in a "pen" like for an animal. They have bassinets in them and little changing tables. And they're supposedly more portable.
25I really doubt that they're buying strollers at Target. I dont even buy my strollers at Target, and I have way less resources than them. It seems silly not to go for more quality when they can afford it.

27Actually you can get both playpens and Pack n Plays. Playpens don't fold up to pack easily, and don't have the sleeper/changing table insert.
Target doesn't have discount-quality strollers/carseats. They sell a range from the highest-safety rated to more affordable ones. You can buy a Britax or Graco there and get the same carseat you'd get elsewhere at a much higher price.
