I have no pity at all.
Anyone who has a driver's license knows that if you hit a car and no one is there you are supposed to leave a note.

As bad as I feel for her (clearly she doesn't know how to handle anything on her own - as much as she wants to), she really should have just left a note on the car.

I feel so bad for her; I wish this girl would just do what she needs to do to heal. Everybody makes mistakes; anyone can hit a car, but I bet she wishes she had hung around to take care of things, then she wouldn't be facing hit and run charges. Poor brit! I love her still and always will.

She HAS to hit bottom if there is any chance of her getting better. My BFF, who is pregnant, thinks she seriously just wants to lose her kids, then she'll have free time for herself. Which makes sense of why she hasn't showed any concern for the fact that the judge ordered random drug tests twice a week. The fact that she will be receiving drug test about every 3 days, you can assume what drugs she is using and being tested for. Cocaine, meth, and I believe heroin, x, and LSD all leave your system within 3 days. She obvouosly isn't being tested for some recreational marijuana use, or they wouldn't be testing her nearly as often!

Things are just getting worse for her, she needs help. I feel bad for her but at the same time everything bad that has been happening to her is her own fault. She deserves all of this but at the same time its sad to see someone who was once known as the best female entertainer in the pop music industry get all washed up and takes a major nose dive.

I agree that she has to hit rock bottom before she's going to change. Everything has to fall apart around her before she's going to finally stop her current course to destruction.
I'm sorry for her because that will stink, but it's the only way for her. Apparently she needs to be knocked upside the head to get it.

Well we all kno that if there is jail time it will be for 2 minutes she better not get jail time she better just pay him some money better not be above 10,000 cuz I saw the scratch it isn't worth it at all my goodness britney for the love of me and your family stay inside but then if she does they fly over her house and take pics. I think that Brit never developed beyond the age of 16....she's had all decisions made for her and has been cosseted to such as extent....that she is unable to function in even a semi-normal environment

I don't feel the least bit sorry for her. That is what her dumb self gets for hitting a parked car and leaving with all those cameras and witnesses around.

I do feel bad for her. You ever try to park a car with crazy ppl running all around you trying to take your picture!? She needs family and friends to just take care of her. It's sad really.

I'm just throwing this out there....but don't you think her parents are somewhat responsible for Brit being so self-destructive.....they are the ones who guided her career into this industry....

I must be immune to her tears because I have no sympathy for her. A quarter of a century on this earth is plenty time to have learned that actions have consequences some of which are serious. Bringing on the tears won't make me forget that she's brought it all on herself.

Im scared her 'rock bottom' might be her own life...gossip blogs, the paps and the people supporting this industry should really let her be before something serious happens. I agree that most of her problems are self-inflicted but having every bad move of yours reported can't serve as good motivation. Obviously this won't happen so one can only hope for a majot wake-up call.

I remembered this incident from last month, I thought since it's quiet and all, she had her lawyer/handler taken care this matter for her! If she's way too busy to pay attention to business...HIRE someone (she can afford it) to take care of matters like this.

If it were my car, I'd want the person who hit it to at least make it right. I'd probably report her too to the cops since it seems like no one from her camp ever contacted the owner of the hit car.

Britney Spears was taped hitting the car and not leaving a note and just walked away/drove away, does she really think no one (the owner of that car) will notice when it's ON NATIONAL TV?

It has nothing to do with her being more "careful when parking her car". It has everything to do with her not understanding right from wrong! When you hit someones car, you leave your information for them to call you, you apologize, and you repair their car. You do not just go about your life and not care about damages you do to anyone elses property.

how do people feel sorry for her ESPECIALLY in this situation? She was freakin' videotaped hitting a car, not checking to see if things were ok, not leaving a note, not getting a hold of the owner of the other car, etc. That's what's called a hit-and-run and she needs to be punished. That's the thing with the Britney's, Lindsey, Paris's and such. They think they're invincible and can get away with anything. She shouldn't even be crying. She should have expected this.

I wonder if she bothered to get a valid CA license before getting pulled over for speeding in her new Benz on Aug. 25th? One of her friends took the wheel after the police let her go. If the paps hound her as soon as she leaves her house, wouldn't there be pics of her visiting a DMV? Or do celebs not have to go to a DMV?
