Yesterday my dad was telling me about his lovely experience meeting Renée Zellweger on the shuttle to DC where she was headed to do charity work. He said she was so sweet to everyone who spoke to her and looked even more beautiful in person. Today we see Renée doing good at the Children's Defense Fund in DC. She recently spoke out about her split from Kenny Chesney, calling the marriage the biggest mistake of her personal life. It's great to see Renée looking so happy - she's clearly moved on from that mistake.

2I'm glad to see her so happy again, but it is rather odd how people can go from being so sure about marrying someone to calling it "the biggest mistake" of their lives. Perhaps there is something to be said for patience, and not rushing to the altar.

4She owned property near my parents home when the wedding and divorce all went down, I saw her at our church's Christmas Eve service with her family and felt bad for her because she looked so tired, it was a few months after she filed for divorce. She seems lovely in person.

21I really like Renee. A bunch of Cold Mountain was filmed in my city & buddy of mine worked on the set & he said that she was really nice. & she nailed the accent in Cold Mountain. (I HATE it when people try to fake southern accents
