Even though Good Luck Chuck wasn't exactly a hit at the box office, Dane Cook doesn't seem to be slowing down. He was already back to work on his next movie Bachelor No. 2 with Kate Hudson in Boston today. Kate looks adorable and fit while Dane's knee pads seem a bit overly cautious for a jog through the park, but maybe that's supposed to be the funny part. Hey, it's gotta be better than cheap jokes and gross comedy, right?

so i take it as dane cook is headed downwards to nothingness, he is taking some big female actresses along with him. although i do wish he would spare kate hudson from his wretched wrath, i should try getting mischa barton or jessica beil in his next movie.

6I have YET to hear his comedy routine, so I can't really comment just yet, but my BF says he's not funny at all.
7he's 30 trying to make jokes that only appeal to guys in their teens and he does the same jokes all the time with his weird expressions on the stage. nothing he does i find funny. dane cook is the definition of crudeness and cringeworthy. i can't go one but i think i'll stop here.

13Unfortunately I PAID to see "Good Luck Chuck" this past weekend. I had to see a movie by myself and so I picked one me and my husband would probably end up renting. I should have gone to see "3:10 to Yuma" or "Shoot 'Em Up." ;-(
Anyway, the only bright spot about "Chuck" was Jessica Alba - she is just adorable. However, I just don't buy Dane Cook as a leading man. Besides his six-pack, his face is full of pock marks. I do like his masculine voice, but HD is not his friend.
Maybe it was his character, I really didn't care for him or any of the other characters. The movie was so full of unnecessary sex scenes and the F-word(I guess I am growing older) not to mention a disgusting guy doing it with a piece of fruit. (Sorry, he is no Jason Biggs and the "American Pie" characters were at least likable).

15I have managed to avoid everything with Dane Cook in it, but I do feel a need to point out that Kate isn't exactly a great actress herself. She can be cute in a ditzy romantic comedy but if you've ever seen her try drama... ouch. She was the weakest link in the Four Feathers and I didn't think she carried Skeleton Key at all.
Also, I don't think those are knee pads he's wearing. They look like elastic supports. He probably has weak or previously injured knees. Lots of people wear them on knees, ankles, etc for support.

I don't think he is funny. I could see him being a nice guy to hang out with, but I don't think his comedy is that great.
