Earlier this week Kate Hudson was in Boston running with her co-star Dane Cook and yesterday she was in NYC with her main man Ryder. The twosome went for a coffee run (ya know, the usual) during the sunny city day. The actress recently took on the role of director (where she cast her "dad" Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning and her new boyfriend Dax Shepard). The premiere for her short Glamour magazine movie called, Cutlass will be October 9th in LA. For those of us not attending the premiere or in the hometown of the stories where the film were based and will be screened, we'll get to check out the flick on Glamour's website soon.

I'm so used to seeing this little guy with hair that I'm not going to recognize him once she cuts it all off.
There was someone yesterday saying she's never with her son, well, here she is!
1*What I meant is seeing him with such LONG hair*
2why can't she let that kid walk
3This kid needs a haircut!
4cut that childs hair, poor little girl oh im sorry i mean boy, j/k, lmao
5Is that kid honestly still in a stroller?!
6love these two!
7A coffee and a haircut. Please!!!!!
8i like his long hair and im sure she isnt forcing him to have long hair, its probably what he wants.
9p.s. THANKSSSSSSS for these new Kate pictures, i loveeeeee her and love seeing pictures of her and i feel like it had been a while, thanks, i got my daily dose!
Awww they are both so PRETTY.... cut his hair!
10Kate & that little guy are cute.
11but he realy should walk.
Cut his hair and get him out of the stroller.
12she should at least cut it into a shag or something so he doesnt look so much like a little girl
13Yeah...the long hair is not attractive for a little boy. We get it...his daddy is Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes...i got it, i got it already. Now cut his hair!!!
14I hate his hair with a passion.
I have no issues with the stroller.
15greggie how do you not have a problem with the stroller? the kid is 3 almost 4! put him on a leash if you are afraid of losing him.
16awww.. it's katie and her little rachel
17Haha! I was just logging in to comment but noticed everyone else is saying what I wanted to say. So add my voice to the chorus:
18Kate looks like a good mom.
Ryder would be so much cuter with short hair. what is WITH that flowing mane?
Let the kid walk. Pushing a preschooler around like he is 8months old is just plain weird in my book.
Let him walk!!!!
19Cut. His. Hair.
20I have no issue with it because I've had a child at age 3 and 4 who simply cannot keep up with me when I'm in a hurry so I put him in a stroller or carry him.
I'm always in the minority with strollers and carrying kids, but I'm ok with that. *lol*
21Oh...I agree, ditch the stroller!
221) he needs a hair cut
2) he looks way too old for that stroller
23I seriously thought that was a little girl. At that age, a kid shouldn't have a say about how long his hair is!! At least get it cut into a "Buster Brown" or something if she insists on him having more than an inch of hair. I wonder how many times people compliment Ms. Hudson on her "daughter"?
24Seriously, she needs to cut his hair. Bad.
25
Everyone's already said what I was going to say.
26CUT IT!
27His hair is long because it's apparently a Jewish tradition (which he is half, I think) to not cut it at all until age 3. I think he's around that age, and if he's older, maybe he got used to it long and doesn't want it short now? Anyway, I think they're a cute couple regardless. My sister was bald until almost 3 and she turned out cute
It's just hair, people!
28I'm with the majority on this one the kid definitely needs a haircut!!! He could easily get confused for a little girl and well I don't think thats cool! As for the stroller issue I don't have kids of my own so I don't know at what age to ditch the stroller but he looks big enough to me to walk on his own!!
Kate seems like a loving mom though, she rocks
29She claimed it was Jewish tradition, but then she cut off quite a bit long before he turned 3, which contradicted her excuse.
30My son is 4 and refuses to get his hair cut. Everybody always tells him how cute it is and how they like it so now he just flat out refuses to do it. The difference is his hair is really curly so it goes more out than down like Ryder here and that helps. A lot of old people still think he's a girl though.
The stroller issue...eh. I know a lot of Moms who still use theirs, but I ditched mine a long time ago. It was more of a hassle getting it in and out of the car or stores or whatever I couldn't wait to get rid of it.
31He seems a little big for a stroller.
32ugh, CUT HIS HAIR. that kid is seriously so ugly.
33For the record, I don't think she needs to cut his hair. I just hate his hair. And I think her excuse is lame when she quickly contradicted it. She should've just said she didn't want to cut his hair short and left it at that.
34What is it with parents these days saying their child REFUSES to get a haircut? Who is calling the shots, the kids?
35he needs to be walking
36It's so sad when you can't tell if a little kid is a boy or a girl. And I'm sure Ms. Hudson has the time to walk a little slower so her child could keep up instead of using the stroller. I can't stand her anyway. She seems so full of herself and she really isn't much of an actress.
37I agree with Greggie about the reason for not getting the kid's hair cut. So if it is against Jewish law to get the hair cut, what does Jewish law say about having tattoos -- last I knew they were forbidden (Kate has one on her foot).
38I can't always take the time to walk a little slower. Or sometimes I want to do a 5-mile loop and can't get a sitter, so I use the jogging stroller for that, too.
Or sometimes I just want to meander the mall without hanging to yank on his hand every 2.2 minutes.
39That's a boy???
40That boy needs a to cut his hair. He could easily be mistaken for a girl.
41She is such a ditz - why doesn't she cut that kids hair - he is too young to have long hair - the poor kid looks like a little girl and is going to have identity problems growing up. He has plenty of time when he is older to have long hair. She tries so hard to be the cool hippie - pseudo-hippie she is.
42I hear ya Greggie, but Kate doesn't look like she's in a rush (nor would she have any difficulty finding a sitter) and that kid is almost always in a stroller.
43I hear ya Greggie, but Kate doesn't look like she's in a rush (nor would she have any difficulty finding a sitter) and that kid is almost always in a stroller.
44Ugh, cut the kids hair already! horrible
45I'm with Greggie on the stroller thing. Although i had to give up ours several months ago...i was just tired of pushing two 35lbs boys around in a super long double stroller. If i had one kid though...i think it would be easier to let him walk. With two..im screwed.
I do think its
fine to keep them in a stroller till they are about 3-4 years old...then the kids should be old enough to stay close by when told to.
Anyhow...maybe he likes to run about a bit too much and she is worried for his safety? Plus...shes drinking coffee and i know that holding a coffee in one hand and your childs hand in the other isnt easy. Spilling hot coffee everywhere is not an option. lol.
46People are so judgmental about EVERY mom celeb posted on here (except for Jen Garner of course)! It gets old!!! Let her do what she wants with her son. If he wants long hair and she still wheels him around, PROBABLY BECAUSE IT'S FASTER IN THE CITY!!!! Than let her! Geez this gets really old.
47Amethyst...Kate isn't the one sounding like a dits.
48That kid needs a haircut. It's too bad he looks more like his dad than his mom. Maybe Dad likes it long like his???
49he needs a haircut.
