The cast and crew of Scrubs celebrated their 6th Season Premiere last night at the Esquire House in Beverly Hills. And despite rumors that this might be Zach's final season, NBC is feeling very confident about the show. So confident that they are putting it up against Grey's Anatomy on Thursday nights.
While most producers would be totally terrified, head honcho Bill Lawrence seems to be keeping his sense of humor about the whole thing. He says, "If NBC is counting on 'Scrubs' then they are sh*t out of luck my friend. First of all, I am a huge TV fan -- Thursday night on NBC should be comedy. Secondly, we're going to think of something to name Zach Braff's character like McSomething -- McWeenie or McCheesy or something." I guess Dr. Cox won't be short of nicknames for JD this season. We like that NBC is going back to their roots with Thursday night comedies but it's going to be hard to choose between Grey's, The OC and Scrubs. The season premiere is November 30th at 9/8 central. I guess I'll be taping one and watching the other. I'll rotate which show I watch to keep the love even! And I won't be able to watch the show taped til Friday boooo! My thursdays were already booked full with Greys and ER. Damn it!
Oh well at least they picked a freaking day for Scrubs to come back!

5i HIGHLY recommend this show to people who haven't watched it yet out there! i honestly am HOOKED..i think it is really hilarious. i have seen some episodes of grey's but honestly...scrubs is hilarious, especially when you watch a couple episodes to pick up all the little quirks about each character. they started playing reruns now so its a great time for people to start catching up with it. i really have gotten so hooked to it..awesome show!
p.s. doesn't sarah look sooo good in these pix? i'm surprised she doesn't get more attention in hollywood--she looks amazing (which is all that ever matters in hollywood unf) and she does a great job playing her role.

9Scrubs all the waaaaay! Best comedy out there. Grey's might be the 'it' show for now (just like ER was a couple of years ago) but I think Scrubs's mix of comedy and drama will stand the test of time.
