The Darjeeling Limited opened the New York Film Festival on Friday, in typical Wes Anderson-quirky style. Not only did he premiere his back story short film starring Natalie Portman at the Apple Store on Tuesday, but the night before the big screening most of the cast and some friends gathered to unveil the special LV luggage that Marc Jacobs designed specially for the movie — loving the jungle animals! I'm sure Owen was missed by the rest of the Wes Anderson gang on the red carpet. Any event with Bill Murray and Anjelica Huston is awesome, it's just a rule, even if Mr. Murray is looking a little, uh, weathered these days. Meanwhile, way to sass it up Molly Shannon! I know you don't all agree, but come on, Adrien Brody looks kinda hot at these events, right? Right?

12I have such a thing for Anjelica Huston, heard her speak once and was blown away by how funny (super witty off the cuff), articulate, and classy she presented. So rare when most cannot go without intense coaching from their people, or worse, say the exact same things for all media (basically similar word for word responses). Glad to see Wes Anderson using her in his films.
