The young stars from the Harry Potter franchise got even more recognition in London this weekend at the National Movie Awards. The award for best family movie went to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix while Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson took home prizes for best male and female actress. Adorable Emma was very gracious in her acceptance, saying, "I can honestly, honestly say I didn't. I didn't dare to dream. I'm absolutely amazed and thrilled."
As for Daniel, he also said the award was unexpected, and when asked about those James Bond rumors, he said, "It would be weird to suddenly be involved in another big franchise, but hey, it takes a big man to turn down Bond." You guys were split about the subject, so it looks like we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, it seems like Daniel is doing just fine for himself playing Harry.

I love the Harry Potter kids. I think they have all worked so hard, and are such better actors than when they started out! Daniel especially has tried to push himself further in other projects, and I admire his courage.
Her dress looks a little low key for this event, but she looks cute overall.

3And I love everything Harry Potter. I think the 3 of them have adjusted wonderfully to fame. They are very grounded and all 3 very intelligent. Lindsay Lohan and Co. could take a page from these actors.

7In my honest opinion, I don't think that either of them deserved the awards if they were judged solely on their acting skills in Harry Potter. However, it's nice that they're doing so well for themselves.

14I know exactly why there are pictures of useless Barton...it's so people can keep asking the question of "why is she there" and we can have a back and forth banter. This is getting old...would have been nice to have seen pictures of Ioan Gruffudd or other far more worthwhile WORKING people than Barton...but I'm hip to this game

16I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I'm thrilled that the kids are doing so well for themselves.
However, I desperately want someone to teach Emma Watson how to pose on the red carpet. She's always standing so awkwardly, with her feet apart and her arms all weird. She wears some unique clothes, and if she stood properly, they would be fantastic. But instead, she looks insecure and uncomfortable, which makes it look like she hates what she's wearing. She could be even more gorgeous than she already is.
