You guys have already said that you're excited for the big reunion and that the girls have still got it, but they haven't been on stage in a while and they certainly have not started preparing for their reunion tour. However, that didn't stop fans in the UK from going crazy for tickets and in fact their London show sold out in just 38 seconds! The girls added 3 more dates to their tour just to accommodate those who weren't lucky enough the first time around. We know they are popular but are you at all surprised that their show sold out so quickly?

38 seconds?? Crazy!! Although i liked them back in the day...im not exactly clamoring to get to this reunion concert.
1hellz yes
2I'm not surprised at all. And I CAN NOT WAIT to go see them! I am too happy about this lol.
3i see Posh is back on greasy side
4never underestimate Britain's love for cheesy and awful music. See also: Westlife. The Spice Girls are freaking royalty over there.
5I LOVE THE SPICE GIRLS!! Posh is soo Gorgeous
6I'd go if tickets fell in my lap just for the people watching, etc but I'm not paying $75 for them!
7No.
I am, however, more than slightly surprised at my own disappointment at not going to the LA show.
8Ok, when I was in grad 4 or 3, I and my friends were all crazy about them, but I'm shocked, that tickets are sold for so short time. Respect!
9I'm not surprised by London selling out quickly at all. It's their home base.
LA, there's still plenty of tickets and they're going REALLY slow by comparison. And I'm sorry that I'm following it so closely.
10im not gonna lie..I am..shoot..then nsync need to come back then...well...hmmmm..let me think about that..LOL
11Yes I am shocked. Well horrified would be more accurate.
12I knew they would seel quick!
13Every girl that's 20 and over loved the Spice Girls, and would LOVE seeing them!!!
Could be an entertaining show, who knows.
14I guess I am surprised cause I don't think Nsync, Brit or BSB ever sold out that fast when they were at their prime here....I could be wrong but 38 seconds that's fast!
Then again I never jumped on the Spice Girls bandwagon and believe me I love/loved cheesy but they were too much for me!
15I'm 35 and I only love the Spice Girls now.
I hated them when they originally came out.
16I WISH I WAS GOING
17That was quick. but not surprised. I would love to go- i loved them when I was little, actually wanted to be them .
18I'd love to be in London now. Brazil is not on their list, as usual, hahahahahahah
19WOOT!!! I'm going in LA two nights!!! YAY...I still have their pictures on my walls...and the dolls! =O)~
20no, i'm not surprised at all. they're insanely famous worldwide.
21Give me some Sporty spice.
22I am surprised. Never thought they had any talent. I thought they disappeared so quickly because no one liked them. Oh well, there is no accounting for taste.
23I saw their tour years ago. It was really awesome! Seriously.
24It was sold out then too. The guy who created American Idol created them (simon fuller) so I'm not that surprised. He does seem to know what works.
Forgot to add. I have all the Spice Girl barbies! I'm going to go get them out~ Love the Geri spice one!
25I wish I could go but I live in boring ole' Michigan
Nobody good comes here.
26I am suprised.. because even though a few of them are still in the headlines, they have'nt actually performed in forever... didn't think they would have that much staying power.. but we'll see how it goes.
27gay men everywhere have ticketmaster on speedial for this reason
28damn, thats quick!
29nope.
30I want to go o bad! The Spice Girls was the first concert i went to when was around 11!
31I LOVE the Spice Girls. I too was a closet fan when they first came around, but now I am open and proud of my love for them!
I just got tickets to see them in Vegas on 12-08. Check on Ticketmaster and see if you can get them too!!
32For Ticketmaster you need a presale code, just to warn everyone. And that codes varies depending on which show you signed up for when the registration first became available on the Spice Girls' website.
Or at least mine does. I can only buy tickets to the 12/7 concert with my code.
33nope there was a reason they were so famous, i forgot how fab they were untill me and some m8s were listening to there music recently, theyre so gr8 lol
34*their
35I wish i was going too!!!! i signed up for the site but i wasnt chosen to buy tickets...damn
36I guess I'm just not the target audience - I really don't get the appeal of barely dressed women lip syncing together around a stage...
37I am not surprised. I loved them then and still now. I wish I was going to the concert!
38i never cared about them
39For the Spice Girl's sake, I hope the tickets really did sell out.
This seems like a very clever PR gimmick to make people think the concert is sold out and that they better hurry and buy some tickets somewhere, otherwise, they'e going to be left out.
If that is the case, it means there are plenty of tickets to be sold and that the tickets may not be moving as much as they would like them too.
Good luck!!!
40Or as one one commentor (curiousasheck) on the Huffington Post site said:
"Promoters dumped all the tickets to second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth tier ticket brokers in 38 seconds who will now sell all the tickets to "fans" for $500 to $6000 a piece.
Thats what a "sellout" is these days."
Let's hope for the best. I believe a few of the girls would really appreciate being on the stage again and making some more money. I sure would.
41Yep I was.
42Their songs were seriously VERY catchy!!! Fun group!
43Not surprised at all - they're only one of the biggest music groups in modern day history. I can't think of any group that would sell out quicker to be honest.
44God. I LIVED for the Spie Girls!Their first CD was the first i've ever had! Does anyone know whats going on with the Toronto show??have they chosen who gets to buy tickets for that one yet??
45*Spice Girls. my bad!
46LOL wilkinsj - you're about 10 aren't you? I can tell because you've never been to a concert before otherwise you would know people sing live at concerts (unless you're Milli Vanilli but you're much too young to know anything about that).. haha How cute
Oh and they didn't disappear quickly, they were around for years. BarJar1122, I think maybe you were too young to remember how long they were around for, how much merchandise they released, how many singles they released, etc etc. You have to understand that people who are in their 20's now will remember all too well how much we all loved the Spice Girls back in our teens.
47Not at all! They were a HUGE band that everybody has been waiting for to come back. It would be the same if Smashing Pumpkins did a reunion tour. They'd sell out hella fast too.
48I LOVE THEM omg.
49too bad Singapore doesn't get a chance for the tickets
38 seconds is just crrazzy!
But it's the SPICE GIRLS and a lot of teenagers before ( who are professionals with money to spend now ) like them before so it is just like going back to the old times...
