I saw this picture on an other site and I SO thought it was her own dress! Got so disapointed! But maybe Ryan will see how pretty she is in white and propose. Actually I have a theory: There were rumours they were getting married, but that they didn´t want the press invovled. Then a few days later "they were broken up". Maybe they actually got married instead... Oh, well, one can always hope.

I just read the book a couple weeks ago. I new she was cast in the film, so I couldn't help but imagine her as the character. Who was cast as her husband in it?

What a fantastic book! I highly suggest everyone go out and read it before seeing the movie. The casting Rachel was pretty spot on too.

I loved the book too, but ok, I have to get this out:

I HATE it when books that are made into movies aren't filmed the locales in which they take place. Especially, when the places they are set are central to the story. If the location isn't a part of the book very much, ok. And if the place is really hard or impractical to film in, ok.

But CHICAGO! Chicago - my home town, and the setting of Time Traveler's Wife - is a great city! A lot of movies are filmed here - most recently the next Batman - so it's not like it's not easy to film here.

It just bothers me - there are so many Chicago landmarks in that book - I want to know how they are going to replicate the steps and the lion statues of the Art Institute at the end... and the beautiful Newberry Library (where Henry works, i.e. the site of the cage). It just doesn't make any sense to put it in Toronto.

they were filming this movie right across from my work for a couple of days. im excited to see the finished product.
didnt spot anyone, but because i live and work downtown toronto there's always notices on my door about something being filmed. it's kind of cool, but really annoying during traffic hours haha.

Time Traveler's wife was a wonderful book. This dress makes me die a little inside.
