Britney does NOT deserve her children back. She flaunted every requirement that the judge made, ignored them all, and then claimed that scheduling was the reason for the problems. What in the name of the Lord comes before keeping custody of one's children? It would appear all the stupid cow had to do was get photographed and fingerprinted if she had taken the test and passed it months ago. But that wasn't important to her. Just like showing up for her court mandated drug test wasn't important, signing up for a parenting class wasn't important, etc. Other things were more important, like what? Her disastrous VMA performance?

And why on earth would Kevin fight Shar Jackson for custody? From many accounts, she's a good mother and has not put her children in jeopardy the way precious Princess Britney has.

Kevin left a pregnant Shar Jackson to be with Britney... maybe now Britney will get her together... God knows what she will do without those boys

She needs a FULL TIME driver. She hits cars trying to park..can you imagine her on the road?????? Anyone who is addited to drugs and alcohol deserve to lose their children!! The state finally stepped up and did something after numerous complaints!!!

I just don't get why she isn't in jail. If I drove around without a driver's licence and caused as many accidents as she has, my fanny would be in jail. But then again, I'm not rich and a celebrity. I do hope she gets her life together but I'm not really holding my breath.

I doubt she will get her kids back at today's hearing because she hasn't complied with all the other stipulations from the court, AND, she was out drinking alcohol less than 12 hours before picking up her kids last week, in direct violation of the court.

In the courts eyes, not taking a drug test is equal to a failed drug test, so they will probably make her pass some clean ones before considering giving her custody.

Kevin has always had shared custody of his kids with Shar, so there was no reason for a custody battle. Britney tried to file for full custody at the start, and he had to fight for shared. The only reason he has full custody now is because she's unfit.

i just feel sorry about those kids ... nobody deserves a mum and a dad like that

I read she dropped her kids off at KFed's house a few hours after she was ordered to turn them over, even though she didn't have to turn them over until Wednesday. She couldn't wait to unload them so she could go tanning.

Do you really think it's "sick" that a parent riding around with their children UNLICENSED is punished by the law. Or do you thinks is alright for said parent to NOT take the necessary steps, ie, drug-testing and parenting classes. I have a question: Why is she the ONLY person in California that I know of who had to wait after applying, and isn't being given a temporary license until she receives her permanent one in the mail? You go to the DMV, you apply, you take the written test, you have your picture taken, and you're issued a temp until you get your permanent one.

Why should the state be ashamed? Because Britney repeatedly broke a law that millions of others are expected to abide by? Because she has a string of driving accidents under her belt??? Because she drives those kids around endangering them??? Because she is a heavy partier, mentally not well and it is just a matter of time before she severely or fatally injures someone??? Which one of these makes it the state's fault???

Now as far as her "deserving" her kids back...the only reason she is at all linked to them is because she gave birth to them. That's all. That may make them her kids, but it doesn't mean that she is in anyway a mother or a mom. Why does she deserve them back? Is she a good mother? A decent mother? A coherent mother? Does she spend her quality time with them, or is it mostly spent shopping, partying, breaking laws, looking like a whackjob, having breakdowns in and outside of rehab, walking barefoot into public bathrooms and trying her hand at a pathetic "comeback" career? What about her behavior cries "good mother" to you? Because she provides them with things like clothing and toys and junk food? Is she setting a good example for them? Is she helping to develop their minds? Is she taking this time in their lives to be there for them? Taking a time out from "BRITNEYLAND" to concentrate on them? Is she ever not selfish? Did she do the necessary things to ensure that they wouldn't be taken away from her? No, she did nothing at all. Nothing whatsoever to keep them in her custody. That says two things to me...either 1) She knows that she is unfit and needs to get help before she can really be a mom to them, or 2) She really just doesn't care and she is happy to give them away. Only time and her actions will tell.

But seriously, I would like to know how you think her actions and behavior in anyway qualifies her as being a mother who deserves her kids back.

If a judge told me to get a license or my son would be taken away, I would make damn sure that I followed his orders BEFORE the date he gave me, not six months later. I would die if someone took my son away from me. She is a hoser that dosen't even appreciate the fact that she has two healthy babies. There are people out there that can't have biological children and would give their left arm for an adopted baby AND would treat those children like gold, not garbage. LOSER!

PP Raw, I totally agree, esp with the last part. She gave birth to those kids, but that does not make her a deserving or GOOD mother. She has to prove she is...and as far as I'm concerned she has not, in way, shape or form.

If something as simple as getting her license would affect her custody, why didn't she do it BEFORE she lost custody?

And, you can't forget that there are many other things she failed to do like get a drug test. Her own lawyer told this to the press. Her lack of effort to keep her kids shows how little she cares about them. She is such a selfish woman! Her kids are much better off with Kevin.

Does that sound like a mother who cares for her kids' safety? She just can't handle responsibility. She can't even hold her own money and credit cards because she isn't responsible enough.

Seriously, the state and judge's point isn't "Britney needs a license to be a proper mother." That would be silly.

The point is that she regularly DRIVES WITHOUT A LICENSE and with absolutely no regard to the law. With her children in the car. And yes, that's valid grounds for a judge to use in a CUSTODY CASE.
