Kevin Federline just emerged from court (wearing an eye patch, which I assume we'll learn more about later) after testifying in today's hearing where Brit was a no show. Britney lost custody of the two boys on Monday and this afternoon the judge ruled to leave Kevin with full custody of the kids, but allow Britney monitored visitation rights. The next hearing is set for October 26th, and the judge ruled that both parties must be present.
Since Monday, Brit has finally gotten a valid CA license and signed the court order papers saying that she will attend the mandatory parenting classes and take the drug tests. It would seem she is taking steps in the right direction, but it apparently wasn't enough to prove to the judge that she deserves custody. Maybe, just maybe she has learned her lesson and these past two days were the wake-up call she needs to get her life in order.

2I'll reserve my opinion until she VISITS with her kids -- that is if her social life doesn't interfere.
3It'll take more than just two days to prove she's actually fit to be with those two boys. She had all the chances to be better from the moment the whole case was brought up, she blew it one after another, and after losing custody, two days should be enough to win the case back.? I don't think so.

Supervised visits is exactly what I expected. She's not fit to be alone with the kids at this point.

27I'm dubious about the rehab reports. Since when has Britney every done what other people told her to do?
Although if she doesn't make an effort quickly, she probably never will. Even with rehab a judge would probably want 3-6 months of clean drug tests, meaning she probably will have supervised visits the rest of this year at a minimum. If she waits a year, the kids will be so established with their routine that it would be really difficult to get much custody.

39It's so sad to say but I really think she won't show up on the 26th either. Her lawyer told her to go today and she refused! I can only think that she just really doesn't want the boys and this is the easy way out. Instead of fighting for the boys she went to Starbucks posed for the papz, and then went to a gas station all according to TMZ. So basically she only left the house for a photo op but not to fight for her babies. Somebody help this poor soul.

49Britney seems to run out of gas often. Surprising really, because those gas station visits are such a great photo op for her. You'd think she would be there more often. I think the paparazzi have pumped more gas into her cars than she has.
Surprised she didn't kick off her shoes and hit the restroom for another photo op while she was at Shell today.
