LL stayed in London over the weekend to supposedly shoot the latest ad campaign for Miu Miu. While her career is still going strong with multiple new movies on the horizon, her personal life is continuing to spiral out of control. This time around things seem much more serious than a letter telling her she's unprofessional. Now there are reports she is cutting herself on top of all the partying. Page Six reports:
THE few friends that Lindsay Lohan has are worried. "At the rate she's going, I would be surprised if she lived past the age of 22," said one concerned pal. Lohan has long been addicted to clubbing and nonstop partying, but her behavior last week during the World Music Awards in London really freaked them out. During the program she was supposed to be hosting, Lohan stumbled on steps, flubbed her lines and abandoned her emcee role early in the show. Later, London's Sun caught pictures of Lohan with cut marks on her wrist that looked self-inflicted. Her rep claimed the incisions were the result of a fall into a bush. "There is no one in her life to guide her or help her," said the friend. "Her mother is a mess, her father is in jail and she has no authority figure, because she has paid the family bills for as long as she can remember with her acting."

7Hollywood lifestyle sucks,celebrities suck but we really don't know what's going on behind closed doors.And childhood traumas can be the most persisting.Having parents who are such a mess and at the same time being a child actor and growing up in Hollywood is not the easiest thing.But she's old enough now and with more than enough money to make her own choices.

12I have no sympathy for her. Having a piss poor childhood is no excuse. It happens to people everyday and you either succumb to it or rise above it. There are hundreds of thousands of people in jail or on drugs because of what happen to them as kids where is their sympathy? They don't get any because they aren't famous. At some point you have to be an adult and make your own decisions. It's called therapy LL get some!! Until she decides to stop using partying as a bandaid she'll get no sympathy from me!

18i saw this two days ago and wondered when and if Pop would post it... this is just sad... i hope she does get better- who cares if she is a b*tch, spoiled and a brat. She is still a human being who is obviously in pain if she is doing drugs and cutting herself.

Scarlett Johanson was a child actor and turned out OK - because her mother remained a mother and not someone living vicariously through her. The Culkin kids - fame was something the parents coveted so the kids suffered.

23In interviews with her when she was young (Parent Trap time frame) she seemed really mature and balanced. I don't think she has gotten to this stage in her life without the "drugs are bad for you" talk from SOMEONE, no matter how horrible her parents are. I think that she was dealt a mixed hand....she's fortunate that she has her talent and the oppportunities that have come along, but unfortunate for the environment she was raised in. In any case, she is at the point in her life where she should be able to make rational decisions when it comes to self preservation. I mean, if people tell you that you have a reputation for being a party girl, and you hate that, then stop going to parties. How hard is it?
24Lindsay Lohan is an addict. It is sad and pathetic that no one in her life is getting off their asses and doing an intervention. Even if it does not get her clean (addicts dont stop until their ready) it could plant the seed. Her parents and friends are clearly star-fuckers who are more concerned about $$/power than her life. It is not always easy to stop using EVEN when your life is falling apart and EVEN when you want to.
25Addiction is a disease, it is genetic and is recognized by the medical community as such.
I saw the pictures of the cut marks on her wrist and it doesnt look like those were on "accident" they were multiple cuts all in a row or something....
26i had a dream about lindsay last night. i dreampt i was an astrologer and she came to my office for a reading. i told her if she remained on the path she was on it would only lead to destruction. she laughed at me and told me i knew nothing. then she went to the mall and died on an escalator accident.
27I don't feel sorry for her either. I can excuse the partying, illicit drugs, and even the sleeping around. But she's a spoiled b*tch in leggings and that my friends is unforgiveable!

31I was at the World Music Awards in London and Lindsay was a terrible host. I felt sorry for her though because when she arrived on stage to host the show she was booed. I guess that just made her nervous. She wasn't speaking loudly enough into the microphone, she messed up her lines and she disappeared before the end of the show. She did a really bad job.
32The girl is a mess. That's why it's hard for me to criticize her. Come on. Look at her family life. The fact that she's still alive considering that and her means ($$$) is a big surprise. It makes me sad.

34flutterpie, i think the point is that Dina Lohan is the child in the relationship. When you rely on your child for financial and emotional support all the time, you become the child. Her mom was in an abusive relationship for nearly 2 decades. I'm sure it's taken a huge toll, HOWEVER, abuse or not, I cannot forgive a parent who refuses to put their kids first.
35lindsay lohan is aware of what she is doing to herself. i really dont feel bad for her and it wont be until she starts losing jobs that she will actually wake up and help herself. and i personally dont think she is a cutter, they look like cat scratches.
