Here's what's going on in the World of Britney since we last checked in. As suspected, those rehab rumors are false. Considering how stubborn she seems these days (and always) I couldn't imagine she would actually let herself be coerced into rehab again, at least not yet. Also, despite their recent arguments, Lynne Spears made sure to tell the press that she "loves her daughter very much." Any healthy support is good. Considering how horribly that video shoot went, I actually can't wait.
Blah blah, Tony Barretto filed a complaint with Child Services. I know (or hope) he means well, but seriously, aren't there enough people, lawyers, etc involved? I'm sure Child Services is aware of the problem. And, finally, for a moment of levity in this horrible story — Kevin was wearing that eye patch to court yesterday because he has conjunctivitis. Eew, ha.

1I don't know how she does it. I would be utterly and completely exhausted if I lived her life. That bodyguard needs to shut up already. It was obvious from day one that his motivation was $$$ and it's obvious now that his intentions are the same.

7I do not want to see the video. Her VMA performance was painful enough. If she could practice for a live audience at the VMAs and her House of Blues shows, what makes you think her video will be any good?
It nauseates me the way she uses music producers. She has no talent, and is just so obsessed with attention. She gives me heartburn.

E News reports that she missed two drug testing appointments because she was sleeping! And had Alli tell them she wasn't available for a home testing appt. LAME!
I'm still grossed out by the VMA performance, for lack of a better word, but morbid curiosity will probably have me watching that new video. Sort of like why I sat and squirmed through all three Saw movies.

In a letter from PETA Prez Ingrid E. Newkirk, she writes to Fed-Ex: "For the sake of your children and the animals who are at risk while in Ms. Spears' custody, we hope that you will do the right and best thing for all involved and pursue a custody order for the animals so that your sons can continue to have the company of the animals they've grown to adore."
13Filing a complaint with CPS is a waste of time, because they've already been to see her in the last month. Then they determened that there was no abuse going on. Giving kids junk food and soda isn't exactly good parenting, but legally it's not abuse, either. Ugh. Why has the check spelling link been out of service forever?
14I just read on x17 aka britneystalkers.com that CPS might be at her house right now. Quick Brit, hide the cheetos, beer, and drugs!

She's mad as a hatter and needs to be committed. Seriously, I've seen more responsible crack heads (literally)! Like a lot of mentally ill people, all of her boozing and drugging is self medication, a symptom of her madness, not the cause...

17There could be some new claim that draws CPS, or those visitors could be related to her parental counseling or there for a drug test. We really can't know.
Just because she doesn't have the kids right now, doesn't mean she gets off the hook. The court is still going to make her do the drug testing, classes, have a safe house, etc. before they will let the kids back.

28I have 2 kids just abt the same ages as Brit's kids...when you have kids & you pay attention to them (unlike Britney) you get gross stuff like pink eye...it's so annoying but better than head lice as my Dr so delicately put it! Gross!

I am 31 and have NEVER had pink eye in my life...yet (I have 2 kids, so I know I will get eventually).
Anyhoo. She is still nuttier than a fruitcake. And is it just me, or does she always look dirty? It's like she's covered in some sort of body cheese or something, and same goes with her hair.

32I think b*tchney has more than mental problems. She probably wasn't told no until recently because she was the breadwinner of her family. Not to mention she was working her ass off since she was a kid! She never got the chance to go wild until the last few years. I was no angel and can understand. I really hope losing her boys will be a wake up call. If she doesn't do thr rehab route she needs to cut the leeches and users out of her life, and go to counselling. The more sh*t I see and hear about her breaks my heart.
As for the vid, I am VERY curious. And I hope it's better than the VMAs wreck. You know they can do a lot with computers now...look at the air brushing on mags.........
