On Friday Carmen Electra was on hand for A Salute to the Troops and USO, a comedy and musical tribute at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Jay Mohr hosted and Kid Rock performed for more than 500 military personnel and family members in attendance. Lots of comedians came out to entertain our fighting forces including Whoopi Goldberg and David Spade. But Carmen could have probably entertained them all on her own with that hot pink dress! Carmen sure knows how to get noticed. The special aired last night on TBS.

7I read the blurp... a portion of it was released to Armed Forces Network. Which is nice.
8I think it just means more when celebrities/entertainers actually go overseas. Like Bob Hope, who they were honoring.
But, don't get me wrong, this is awesome that they donated their time/efforts to support the troops.
I think it's great that they take the time out to support the troops and make them happy. Carmen looks so great as always

13This cannot possibly come out in a nice way, so I'll just say it: we send our troops to war and we send them Carmen Electra, Kid Rock, etc.?! Unless Carmen was doing her fit-to-strip routine, they got screwed. Give me TV instead.
