10shiloh, glad i'm not the only one who hasn't heard it. racial slurs are worse than swear words, in my opinion. a swear word is simply dirty and carries anger but racial slurs carry hate and prejudice.

13WOW ya'll, I can't believe some of you don't ever hear the n-word. I'd go as far as to say I hear it fairly regularly. I'm glad to hear that it is at least a dying word in some parts of the country.
14People have said the n-word around me as if it's cool because rappers and comedians use it. I am outspoken about my dislike of this. It's offensive. I don't call my girlfriends my b----es. I don't call other black people n-----s. THESE ARE NOT TERMS OF ENDEARMENT and it makes me so mad that people are using this to a) justify Michael Richard's action b) see (a) especially considering the context in which he used it.
