Lindsay Lohan isn't living at Cirque anymore, but she's not ready to leave Utah just yet. Over the weekend she spent more time with her father, and, in typical Lohan family fashion, found some time to give her first post-rehab interview to OK! Magazine. The issue, which includes a revealing interview as well as a photoshoot of her both leaving and out of rehab (naturally), hits stands on Friday. Here are highlights:
- On her plans: "I'm staying in Utah until it's time to shoot Dare to Love Me and then I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other distractions."
- On leaving Hollywood all together: "Absolutely not — never! I'm here to stay. My talent is a gift, and I'm going to use it in the right way."
- On her second arrest being "rock bottom": "Everything in my life came to a point where I had to make a decision; the arrest that night helped me come to a point where I had to make one."
To hear more from Lindsay's interview, including her thoughts on her parents' relationship, being scared of relapse and more just read more
- On who she wants to be around these days: "Good people who have their hearts and their minds in the right places."
- On her parents' feud: "I wish it would stop. It hurts when two people you love argue with one another. I don't think any child wants to see their parents argue or see their family fall apart. Unfortunately, it happens, and when it does, they should do it with as little effect on their children as possible."
- On how it was in rehab: "sobering" and "humbling. It made me look at myself, and all of the people, places and things in my life in a different way. I was in there for substance abuse, after all."
- On the fear of relapse: "If I wasn't (worried), I'd be living in denial. Temptation is always there, but now I'll avoid it the right way."
For all her mistakes Lindsay has always struck me as a smart girl — so hopefully she means all of this. You all thought that she should stay away from Hollywood for a while longer, and it sounds like that might just be what she does. That is, unless a little time filming in L.A. is too enticing for her to return to Utah. Fingers crossed that's not the case.

gift? okay.
1sounds like her heart is really in it this time.
2Shame... I really hope it all works out for her... In the right way
3I'm looking forward to those changes.
4I wish the best for her. I think she really is a talented actress, and even singer. She needs to keep the right people around her, the people who will support 100%. If someone is gonna try to get her to come to the clubs or bars, and she's not ready or doesn't want to, she should get rid them. She needs people who will tell her "Don't do anything you don't want to do. If you don't want to go out, you don't have to. Forget everyone else. I will sit at home with you in my cloud pj pants eating Ben and Jerry's and watching movies."
5Yawning....talent?? what talent??girl, a little modesty would be nice...now if we are talking about your talent snorting substances...maybe you are right on target...boriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing...
6what talent?? what gift??? b*tch PLEASE!!
7Why would anyone feel the need to bash someone who's getting real help? Sure she's made some mistakes, but who hasn't? She didn't choose to be an addict, but she did choose to get help.
8ummmmm..... gift? what gift...... who? who has the gift?where?...... when, when did this happen? I'm confused.
9I am curious to know what gift she is speaking of... is she going to give that handbag away?
10Hopefully she will stop being the idiot that she is/was?
11I'm gonna stay positive and wish her luck.
And yeah, this is an EXCELLENT decision to stay in Utah.
12Hmmm, whoever gave her this "gift" should give her the receipt so she can go get a refund
I'm kidding. She's young, she's shown plenty of potential in the past, if she's really changed her life around then good for her... but a little modesty (and maybe a few classes) wouldn't kill her.
13Am I the only one who thinks LL does have talent? Sure here most recent movies have not been the best but she has done some good ones. She sounds sincere and I sure hope it is for real
14she still needs to do her time in jail. then, i may believe her. Anyway, she has a slim chance with those parents circling her as a morale compass.
15she seems skinny again
16b*tch please... move out of Hollywood. 'absolutely not- never'
17thats says it all
I took her quote about never leaving Hollywood to mean that she's not planning on quitting acting. After all, she said she's planning on going back to Utah!
It sounds like she might be sincere about changing her life. At least she didn't go clubbing straight after getting out this time! I hope that she is serious and can get it together. Good luck Lindsay.
18Well, Im glad she made the decision to stay in Utah unless shes working. I think thats definatly the right choice for her right now...
as far as her herbeing gifted and talented...
conceited much?
19Zahahara- I think she meant she will never quit acting. Since she did say she is staying in Utah now and will return to Utah after shes done filming, I dont think she meant she will never physically leave hollywood..
20OH yeah, and she looks uber cute in these pics. I like her "sweater" and matching hat. adorable.
21I like how everyone is trying to be a comedian and joke on her gift quote. You're all so creative, did you all attend the same comedy school??
I bet she has more talent in one bone of her body than you people do. Obviously, she does have talent and a gift or else she wouldn't have made it in hollywood. You people should remember although she hang around with people like Paris and Nicole, she unlike them actually made it for a skill she possesses.
I'm not even a LL fan, but whatever. I'm not going to be a hater and sit here and bash her and try to take her talent away, because you can say alot of things about her but she can act.
22I acutally like her as an actress. I really liked Georgia Rule, I know people who didn't but I did find it interesting, and almost made me wonder if she had to do much "acting" in it, considering that she played a person who did drugs, drank, and crashed her car. but, I thought she played her role very well.
23"My talent is a gift!"
Haha, omg that is hilarious.
24I took it as her not quiting acting... because she loves the camera too much
25
...i pray she mean every word she say..but im not gonna hold my breath.
26MusicLVR I agree.
She does have a gift, and talent. Just because she ruined it by showing us her personal life doesn't make her acting abilities disappear. Of all the movies I have seen with her in it, she has been good. A lot better then Jessica Alba and the sort. Now that is one over rated actress.
27i love her. good luck
28I think she's going to be alright.
29i wish her all the best with her recovery!
30I haven't seen her in enough movies to comment on her acting ability, though I've liked what I've seen her in for the most part. Either way, for her to be as big of a star as she is, she does have a gift- to draw people to her. Besides, what kind of recovery would someone be in if they came out of it thinking they were nothing. It's all part of the process to believe in yourself and be proud of your accomplishments. There's nothing wrong with that. I wish her the best.
31Good for Lindsay! I have had so many friends who have been in and out of rehab and it really takes them actually wanting to be sober. I think Lindsay can do it, especially since she is going to stay in Utah! I'm rooting for her!
32Maybe I'm just naive, but I'm really glad she's reconciled with her father. I hope she stays sober.
33Yay!
34I'm glad to see she is actally making some good choices! I hope she stays this way now!
Skinny- I agree about Jessica Alba, she is not a talented actress. Shes usually painful to watch. Lindsay is talented (comparitively speaking) But for her to make a comment like "My talent is a gift" is a little...I dont know what word im looking for, but shes certianly no Meryl Streep or Cate Blanchett..
35I don't know why everyone is saying that her acting is not a gift. I know I wasn't the only one who saw mean girls. It's on TV every day. I know I could never do what she does. (work wise, the parting, I could do that)
36She needs to stay in Utah and enroll in college and continue as an outpatient and stay away from Hollywood! Then come back in like a year in a small indie movie...
37I just read on Perez that her dad said that this interview was done a long time ago and OK! magazine is running it without permission. Don't believe this. Hopefully, Lindsay is smart enough now to not cater to the media.
38What gift? Can someone please make this girl (and her crazy parents) go away?
39Let's hope she sticks with it.
40Talent?OK then.
415min later after leave Rehab she is giving an interview? one a medai wh@re always a medai wh@re.
42BTW will take yaers for big studios to trust her again, be happy to work in small films and B material.

43She thinks her "talent is a gift" ?!
That's just as believable as her "those drugs aren't
mine because those pants weren't mine" excuse.
44she seems so full of sh*t.
45My favorite part is that she says rehab is "sobering". NO sh*t SHERLOCK!
46i love her and i really really hope she actually changes this time...also, love the jeans
47Good lord. I'm not a LL fan (except for in Parent Trap), but it's not like she said she's the most talented actress on earth. She essentially said she's got a talent and is thankful/lucky that she does. Everybody is talented in some way or another and I think it's totally healthy to acknowledge it and be thankful. I wish her the best -- whatever else she is, she's still just a person with problems. I'm not gonna race out to see her movies though.
48lix, i love the jeans too!
49Good for her for getting help. As for talent, I think she has talent. She's just been squandering it in the wrong sort of vehicle via those teen flicks. I hope she is able to do right by herself from now on. I don't know how many more second chances she has left.
