Scarlett fits the part perfectly, looking gorgeous and dangerously seductive on the cover of Elle's November Hollywood Issue. With her album on the way, a role in the all star collaboration He's Just Not That Into You as well as another Woody Allen movie in the works, Scarlett is all over Hollywood these days. Even with all her different projects, it seems that everyone just wants to talk to Scarlett about Mr. Allen and their unconventional Muse/Writer relationship. Here are highlights from the interview:
- On being Woody Allen’s muse: “We’ve joked about that word. Woody says, ‘You appear and my writer’s block is cured.’”
- On Woody Allen: “Woody’s mannerisms and his wit are classically him. But when you know someone, your conversation has an intimacy that you couldn’t have predicted from seeing him on the screen. Woody surprises me all the time. On film, you see his neurotic side but not his sensitivity.”
- On being fondled by Isaac Mizrahi at the 2006 Golden Globes: “I was so mortified. Holy moly, that was bizarre!”
While that incident would have many women a lot more annoyed, it sounds like Scarlett's still got a good sense of humor about the totally unwelcome groping. Then again, it sounds like Scarlett's pretty used to fairly bizarre men and their behavior.

2I personally don't think she looks great in those pics! Her hair is actually kinda bothering me and that pink dress looks weird on her! I'm not a Scarlett fan but I've definitely seen her look better! I do like the dress on the cover though!

15I am with EVERYONE who wrote about her lack of talent! I CANNOT STAND HER! Argh. Her raspy voice drives me crazy and I think she's so boring to watch. She's been terrible since The Horse Whisperer.

19Also, here are a couple of personal SJ stories:
1) Awhile back, I was in the East Village in NYC and was going to meet some friends at a bar. Turned out that the SNL after party was going on at the place, so there was a line of people waiting to get in (blech!) Anyways, everyone is patiently waiting and up comes Scarlett and literally PUSHES people aside to get to the bouncer. Then she says: I'm SCARLETT! I'm on [so-and-so's] list. She was all huffy and puffy because the bouncer didn't recognize her and was a TOTAL b*tch to everyone. No one knew who she was and she was giving off so much attitude.
2) I was at a friend's house for a party and, as it turns out, her back yard opens onto Freeman Alley, the alley on which the relatively trendy, Freeman's Restaurant is located. So...a bunch of us were mingling in the yard and people waiting for tables at the restaurant would come and go. Zooming up the alley on one of those Smart Car/Golf Cart things is Josh Hartnett. Apparently, he was waiting for a table...slouching on this cart and drawing closed the hood of his sweatshirt so as, I would guess, not to be noticed. AGAIN, no one even paid attention to him. More than anything, everyone was like: who is the uni-bomber look-alike?
Finally, Hartnett goes in to his table with his friends. A few minutes later, a blond comes bouncing down the street and hops into the restaurant. Next thing we see, they are making a big fuss about what table they had and are then moved to a table RIGHT IN THE WINDOW, where Scarlett and Josh proceed to make-out for the small crowd waiting outside the restaurant to get in. I cannot even explain how much of a show they were putting on. It was the dumbest thing I've seen in quite awhile.
Anyways, there are my SJ stories. I've never gotten a good impression. I wish she would go away. Blahhhhhh.

23I'm back and forth on this one. On one side I can see why people would find her attractive, but slap some make-up on a girl and photoshop her and anyone would look good. These photos look kind of like that. But in candid shots of her walking down the street she looks better actually.
On the other side I don't understand why people are so hard up about her. She's a mediocre actress. I pretty much fell asleep in Lost in Translation. The only thing I liked in that movie was her haircut. ^_^;;
It's funny how mediocre skills but with 'amazing' beauty and maybe a casting couch in between and a girl could get into showbiz.

36The Ghost Whisperer, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Prestige, & Lost in Translation were all hits. Maybe not all of them were box office smashes but they were all criticlly acclaimed
