There're some terrible mothers all around the world or in the US, but because it's Britney, everything is focused on her life and I'm sure that all this thing has a influence on the court!!

Kevin didn't HAVE to fight Shar for custody, because she is a good mother who was happy to share. She says glowing things about his parenting skills.

Britney is the selfish b**ch who first filed for full custody, trying to take the kids away from Kevin. She started the battle. I can't believe anyone can defend her parental skills.

Considering she refused to show up in court last week or get drug tested, and left her kids sitting outside her gate, I doubt 4 days of good behavior is going to win her custody back.

There is still no doubt in my mind that Britney does love her boys but you have to face the fact she still isn't a fit mother/person. If she tries harder to change and is monitored then I guess the boys staying overnight would be fine but otherwise it is not fine.

You shouldn't lose your kids for being selfish and stupid. Seriously people normal court doesn't work like that. Judges in these cases (celebrities) go overboard to cover their asses. One of my very best friends is a social worker, people keep their kids and are WAY freaking worse then Britney Spears. Hate her if you will, but people don't lose their kids for being a dumbass. I actually didn't realize she had lost overnight visitation. Knowing this now, I really think the ruling was extreme. Besides weird behavior and the testimony of a 2month employee there really doesn't seem to be any evidence she is anything more then a moron.

Any mother is going to miss her children. Unfortunately, she didn't cherish and take care of her boys like she should of while she had them...now this is a consequence to her actions. In a way...I feel bad for her...not that I thought I would ever say that...but as a mother myself....I can imagine the pain that she feels when those boys leave her every night. Britney is a human being and she does have feelings...even if she is acting on those feelings a little too late.

Just because there are people who behave WORSE than her doesn't mean it's okay for her to act like and keep are kids full time. And what do we REALLY know, there could be a lot more going on here.

to me, the craziest thing of all is that britney spears is not under the influence of any kind of drug (at least that they could test for), and she still continues to act crazy. it's scary to me! at least if she were on drugs she'd have a kind of excuse. but, no. she willingly chooses to dress like a deranged hooker, hang out with sketchy characters, and openly welcomes the attention of paparazzi hoards, all while being perfectly sober. that should really freak everybody out.

I've been thinking that IF (big if) she is just crazy and not on some substance, than if she gets well one day, how will she feel seeing the pictures, articles and videos of this time period.

Because if any sane person were shown a bunch of stuff where the dressed and acted like that, who wouldn't be mortified and humiliated? In a way, becoming sane and seeing this could make her crazy again. Or really depressed.

Yes, real courts and real juges DO act this way. It doesn't happen NEARLY enough, but it absolutely does happen. Yeah, "worse" people keep their kids, but it doesn't happen all the time. It had nothing to do with her being a celebrity and everything to do with her being an unfit mother. I would love to see her get her crap together and keep permanent 50/50 with Kevin but the fact is, she has to maintain the sobriety for more than a week and stop being an attention wh*re and acting crazy.

I know people who take in foster kids, and you wouldn't believe the homes these kids go back to. Crack addict parents, sexual abuse and diets made entirely of bags of candy. The whole custody legal system, needs to be looked at.
That being said, there are some people who should just never have kids because of personality issues or sanity issues. Britney is one of those people. Her photographed and videotaped behavior of the past year, is reason enough why Kevin should have the kids. He could easily be living the same lifestyle as her and get nearly the same media coverage but you don't see him in the tabloids and on the gossips sites nearly acting foolish at all hours of the day and night. The fittest parent, should get the kids. Britney is unfit right now and she definately should not get unsupervised overnight visits. Maybe if Aunt Jamie-Lynn or Grandma Spears were with her and the boys... There should be some responsible grown ups present.

Now, who would watch the boys when Britney is parading out on the streets at 3, 4 and 5 in the morning? That is one point that Kevin will absolutely bring up at the hearing. Of course, any mother would miss their kids no matter how deranged she might be but there are a lot of factors to consider in Brit's case. If she keeps acting like a lunatic the chances of her of getting her kids back are very slim.

Given how the judges are usually TOO lenient with celebs, and let them get away with murder, I'm thinking there had to be a lot of strong evidence there for the judge to make this decision. You think he'd really take her kids away just cause she was selfish, or stupid? I highly doubt that...we obviously don't know the whole story. Remember, there were others who testified on Brit's abilities as a mother, but we don't know what happened during those meetings (the other bodyguard Daimon, her cousin Alli, the ex-assistant Shannon). Who knows what they told the judge...

Any mother who leaves her 1 and 2 yr old babies outside for 40 minutes, like they are freaking peasants, leaving your kids to wait in a car with strangers after not seeing them for a week does NOT deserve to have those babies. It just blows my mind that this piece of trash could do this to her own helpless children. They are saying that Kevins people even called her lawyer and he was on the phone with her begging her to let the kids in! Then a week later she decides she wants an emergency hearing when there is no emergency! Why didn't she care enough to show up before she lost custody? Why didn't she do what the judge ordered her? I would not be surprised if requesting this "emergency hearing" worked against her. She was able to comply with the orders and attend last weeks hearing, but chose not to.

Now she is wasting the court's time with an "emergency" when there doesn't seem to be anything new in the case, other than she passed some drug tests. Kevin's attorney has to show up and fight it, jacking up his legal bills, which is probably why he's petitioned for her to pay his legal fees, because otherwise she'd just tie him up in lawyers forever.

Judges really don't like it when people ignore their orders and waste their time.

I hate to see children without a parent, regardless of how stupid the parent is being. I want her to get well, if not for herself, for those children. Its just so heartbreaking to see children going through such confusing times. I can only hope they are small enough to not realize what is going on and more importantly, not REMEMBER it when they get older.

My friend was taken from her father at a very young age for about a year and she remembers it as the worst, scariest time in her life. Was it best for her? Absolutely. But you don't realize that as a child. You just want your mom/dad.

Spears was just as uneasy with paps after eating, needing the assistance of a restaurant patron to get past the wall of photogs to her car.

When she had those boys she was never around, what will make it different this time.
