After being photographed out late last night, Britney missed the court appearance this morning addressing her emergency request to be allowed overnight visits with her boys. In court, Britney's lawyer also suggested that Lynne be allowed to act as supervisor for Britney's visits with Sean Preston and Jayden James. The judge dismissed the motion on the grounds that it wasn't an emergency but said that Brit's issues could have "devastating effects" on the kids. He then told Britney and Kevin's lawyers to work it out between themselves in the court cafeteria. What do you think — should Lynne be allowed to supervise Britney and her kids?

1No, because Britney always finds a way to get people that she knows or people that she pays to let her get her way and do whatever she wants. She needs a professional court appointed supervisor.

Trying to manipulate the court with "nights away from mom are traumatic" is disgusting. All along she's claimed they were with KFed the nights she was out partying, so why is it suddenly "traumatic" for them to be away from her at night?

I'm gonna stop saying anything about Britney because its just too sad at this point. Its awful seeing the downhill slide this girl has been on in the last few years and that she's ended up here.

14All that matters to her is another photo op to showcase her horrendous fashion taste. Although they had a reunion I feel there is still some friction between Brit and her mother and this can make matters worse.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that this lawyer quits or is fired, too.

19She didnt make it to the hearing today because she took her new prescription sleeping pills to help her get a good nights rest and they were so strong that she couldnt wake up. Yeah uh Britney...you have to take them around 9-10pm(a normal bedtime)...not at 3am. Duh! Gosh this girl is dumb.

29This is so sad. I don't comment much on Britney, but I had no idea she was such a terrible mom. Even after losing her kids she has not made an effort to get her act together. I think she is in a strange way asking for help.

I think Lynne Spears is worried sick about her daughter, but not at the risk of her grandchildren - which is how she ended up siding with Kevin Federline in the first place. But Britney is NOT ready to handle overnight visits with her kids and the original order should stick for now.

43What a pathetic liar! She wouldn't talk to her mom two weeks ago and in June served papers telling her to stay away from the kids. Fortunately family court judges have just about seen it all, so they are not easily fooled by a manipulative pop tart.
44just because she's passing drug test means NOTHING. There was a nurse who my sister worked with that confided that whenever she has to take a drug test (this is gross), she takes a condom, with one of her kid's drug free urine inside, ties it in a knot and puts it you know where. That way it registers 98 degrees body temp and it passes. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what she's doing with someone around her that doesn't do drugs. A blood test would be a lot more accurate, but I doubt they will ever do that on Britney.
