OK, she claims Kelly Ripa is "homophobic" for an incident in which Clay Aiken put his hand over her mouth (and left it there for a period of time, not letting her speak). She replied "I don't know where that hand has been." According to Rosie, that was a homophobic statement and Kelly never would have said that to a "straight" person.

I call unmitigated bullsh*t on that statement. First of all, gee Rosie, are you outing Clay Aiken? He has never come out of the closet... er... stated he was gay. Second of all, it was RUDE for him to have done that on Kelly's own show. Third, I know I have said that to lots of people when they've attempted to put their hands on me, including my husband, who, at last notice, was not gay nor hiding in the closet. She would have said that to ANYONE rude enough to put their hands on her uninvited.

Why does Rosie imagine herself the spokesperson for all gay people (and Clay Aiken) in America? I think it is irresponsible for her to make comments like the one she made about Kelly Ripa. First, she stated that Aiken was gay, which he has never publically stated, and then she passed judgement on someone for something that was a nonissue (except for the fact that Aiken was rude as hell).
