Looks like Posh needed a cozy outfit after the seemingly uncomfortable dress she wore to Tom and Katie's wedding. While Victoria was wowing wedding guests with her designer wear, David was on the sidelines - in Spain. It seems like being a superstar soccer player isn't all it's cracked up to be. Especially when it doesn't even give you the clout that you need to go to the biggest wedding of the year. Here's more:
The soccer star-pop idol wanted to stay in Rome for an extra day to watch Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes tie the knot, but Real Madrid didn't like that idea.
The Spanish team allowed Beckham to travel to Italy to visit the Hollywood couple Friday. Then the club wanted the injured midfielder back in Spain to sit in the stands for Saturday's game against Racing Santander.
Real Madrid 1, Beckham 0.
"He's injured," Madrid coach Fabio Capello said. "He hasn't recovered and he has to train."
Beckham has been training plenty, including Monday, but he has started only three times this season for Madrid. The injury to his left knee also will force him to miss Madrid's Champions League match against Lyon on Tuesday.

I love the way it fits, but I'm not too sure about the print. And she was totally the hottest thing at Tom's wedding. I thought there was a rule about out-hotting the bride, but I guess it doesn't count at celebrity weddings that are swarming with paparazzi.

5David is a footballer not a celebrity...he was needed to be back in Spain to support his team mates injured or not. I am sure he would have liked to attend the wedding but his has job to do first and foremost I wish people would understand this.
This type of celebrity courting is what made him fall out with his mentor and manager Sir Alex Ferguson and as much as I love Posh this is down to her influence...I am a football fan so I prefer to see Beckham doing well on the pitch not wasting his time watching a fake wedding.

10It's not too bad that he didn't get to go to the wedding, unless soccer is no longer his priority and celebrity events are. When you're on a professional sports team, you go to the games, period.
11Agreed JK, Becks obligations are training and healing his injury, and supporting his team. Thats what he gets paid the big bucks for, so Posh can spend it.

I think some people forget that one of David's friends and confidentes was getting married and he attended their pre-wedding party within the rules of the club, to congratulate them - because he can. It's just that that friend happens to be Tom Cruise. If it was his sister or someone, the press wouldn't have battered an eyelid.its like news about every other person in the world is normal but when the matter comes to David Beckham its under a magnifying machine!!!!

23I like her outfit, it have a very odd look to it but it goes with her style of fashion. She's pretty outrageous when it comes to fashion. Must be part of her attitude.
