Denzel Washington, Natalie Portman and Tom Hanks were just a few of the celebrities who came out to honor Julia Roberts with the 22nd American Cinematheque Award on Friday Night. Julia's friends had the chance to tease as well as gush about the actress, and Julia herself chalked up much of her success to her husband and family. She said,
"More than anything I am just the most proud wife and mother to three of the most amazing children. And the widening of my life, and my hips, is really just the true gift of my husband Danny (Moder), who I would be so lonely without."
We've been Julia's fans long before she became a mommy, but it's great that she's had as much success in her personal life in addition to her fabulous career. On top of this great honor and her personal happiness, there is also already Oscar buzz for her new movie co-starring Tom Hanks. 25i notice that she's flashing that huge smile that made her famous, although now since shes gotten older it seems more "put on" and overly done. She hardly smiles when she's in public (except wearing A-Low-Vera tacky shirt), she was all smiles then. When she does try and reach and go for another type character, the acting is so strained and the movie usually bombs. Ok..Im done giving my review of J.Roberts.

35I saw Julia in her broadway show; we paid through the nose to see it - and she was HANDS DOWN the worst actress I've ever seen, including high school productions! She had no range, was vocally flat (for two supposedly different characters), and gave her fellow actors nothing to work with - the other two, however, were great and rescued the show. The reason she didn't get nominated for a Tony was no snub... she is terrible. The only reason her movies succeed is because of the full frontal smile, and her prediliction for the same character.
36There's quite a long list of people she's worked with and who are supposedly her friends who are missing from this event...the Ocean's cast and her great friend George. Where is Hugh Grant? Catherine ZJ and John Cusak? Richard Gere? Maybe they are busy, but maybe Julia isn't Hollywood's sweetheart afterall! Friends usually show up to those kinds of recognition awards. Hmmmmm...

There's a reason why there's a giant pic of her mug on stage...IT, not Julia's talent, is responsible fo r her career. Julia is extremely limited as an actor(to be generous), only her megawatt smile saved her from the mediocrity she justly deserves. Sadly, as she's aged, that smile, however, just looks vaguely creepy now.
And, on a completely unrelated note, she has the ugliest, fattest arms. Always has. Would it kill her to pick up a weight?

She is so beautiful. I love her red hair. That color suits her best. I love the nail polish too. Julia is still on top of the A-list. She is what all those starlets strive to be. She makes 25 million a movie. She is the golden standard. There is many more great movie roles for her to come. She has the best smile ever. I thought it was funny when Denzel, said in his speech at the awards that he remembered way back when they did Pelican Brief, someone asked them what song verse best describes you, and Julia, said the Bruce Spingsteen, song Thunder Road. The verce was "You ain't a beauty, but your alright". She will always be my favorite actress ever. Can you tell I like her?
