Will Ferrell was rather sporty in his tracksuit as he headed out of LAX yesterday. Sports have been a running theme of Will's movies like Blades of Glory, but next year he'll start on a brand new project that will take him in a different direction. His new movie, Land of the Lost is about time travel and dinosaurs. The TV remake is set to start filming in March. Considering Will has fans of all ages he can bring a whole new audience to the popular 70's hit.

OMG! are you kidding me? This was my all time fave show when I was a kid. I just bought it for my kids on dvd and they love it too! The sleezaks used to scare the crap out of me and I always wanted to find a chaka. Holly and Will were the best! *L* Will, I'm assuming is going to play Marshall...

9MistyEdge, have you seen the latest Ben movie, The Heartbreak Kid? It was sooooooooo awful. I loathed it, and I usually like Ben too. He really needs to find some better material.

11chapstick addict and pink tulips...if you're a child of the 80's like me, you're probably thinking of the remake of the 70's show that came on saturday mornings....where the opening credits had the station wagon in an earthquake, and they lived in a tree house?? the 70's show was, i believe, the creation of sid and marty crofft....they did all sorts of crazy puppet, psychedelic sort of shows.
12I hope it's not terrible. Loved Land of the Lost. I never understood why the rocks in my yard didn't light up like the magic crystal things on the show.
13OOOH YEAH! I love Land of the Lost. I'm pretty sure, based on my fuzzy memories of tv addiction, that I watched both the 70's version in syndication and the 80's version. My little sister- Celisa - has been called Cerisa Taka or Sleestak for ever. Gotta to tell my other sis!

16I loved Land of The Lost as a child, and i dont like that they are remaking it EVEN if Will is in it, The whole appeal of that show is its low budget cheesiness.
Hollywood has officially run out of new ideas.
