The singer was given a maternity reprieve in a lawsuit filed against manufacturing firm Schifter and Partners, for whom she designs a handbag line.

Rival designers LeSportsac insist her Harajuku Lovers collection is a copy of their own Japanese street look, and are suing her business partner and the firm's boss, Tim Schifter, for $1.23 million.

LeSportsac is also seeking a preliminary injunction preventing the pair working together.

Schifter was previously head of LeSportsac, but sold the company earlier this year, according to Page Six. New bosses insist he violated contractual agreements that run to August.
