Reservation Road premiered in LA last night, bringing out the movie's four big name stars. Joaquin, Mark, Jennifer and Mira all looked happy to be reunited on the red carpet, but I'm sure they were all missing their other all star costar, Elle Fanning. Jennifer Connelly was obviously too busy reveling in her new deal to be the face of Balenciaga to realize that the designer's runway look doesn't translate too well to the everyday premiere. Two words: Hot mess. With all the super dramatic movies opening this weekend it's hard to choose just one. 10Yes, it's really Balenciaga. Natalia Vodianova modeled it on the runway, actually. Jennifer pretty much has to wear Balenciaga since she's the face of their new campaign. I think the colors are what make this dress so icky....I love Jennifer, but this is the worst dress she's ever worn. The last Balenciaga, that pink and white dress from the Elle Women in Hollywood thing, was sooo gorgeous! And now this? Why Jenn!
11after buzz review of this, i realize jennifer has only made movies with the same entire concept character, which is the grieving wife/mother...but then i still would like to see this because of mark he is not type-cast with tenny romantic heartrobs, it'll be good seeing him on a drama for sure...

13I wouldn't reduce Jennifery Connelley's career to grieving wife/mother roles. She was a journalist in Blood Diamond, an artist muse/girlfriend in Pollack, drug addict in Requiem for a Dream, young object of desire in the Hot Spot.
Quite a diverse career. Although some of her recent grieving wife/mother roles like House of Sand and Fog are some of her best work.

15I love to see Jennifer and Paul together but what in the world what she thinking?? That dress could not be any more hideous.... I was wrong, the shoes make it on beyond hideous. Paul looks mighty fine though
