Karl Lagerfeld once again stepped up his own game, staging his Fendi fashion show on the Great Wall of China on Thursday night. Talk about an event to remember. Among those lucky enough to attend were Kate Bosworth and Thandie Newton, who gushed about the big event. The ladies' outfits were daring, but totally perfect for such a spectacle. Kate even said that she brought her own camera to snap some pictures because she was so excited. Check out the video below to see Kate and Thandie being a little bit awestruck by the awesome scene. I think you can tell that Kate is awed, but thinks the whole thing is ridiculous (in an amazing way of course!) but she was using some sarcasm there "Lagerfeld's master plan" and then Thandie was just eating the whole thing up, really absolutely praising the genius of Karl. I'm definitely with Kate in this one, what a place, but how preposterous!

43It all fits together perfectly - the ethically and morally bankrupt Lagerfeld puts together a show which consists mainly of garments created from animals who may have been skinned alive or electrocuted to death (all on the name of fashion and 'style') and then sets the show upon the great wall of China - which was built by slaves and the mortar is made up of the ground bones of those to who died building the wall.
I really think less of Thandie and Kate for going (esp Kate for wearing the coat).
Let it also be noted that a number of faux fur garments made in China were found to be made from domestic dogs. In that country they smash racoon dogs to the ground and skin them alive. Please do not buy faux fur garmets if they were made in China. All fur clothing looks tacky anyway.
