It's been awhile since we've heard from Liv. It looked like her career was really going to take off after LOTR. Then she did Jersey Girl and Lonesome Jim which meant working with both Afflecks. For some reason Liv then took a long break to spend time with her baby Milo. She also was considering retiring from acting all together. Here's highlights:

  • Tyler took last year off after the birth of her first child, Milo, with husband, Royston Langdon. She said she returned to acting because her time off made her realize how much she liked her work.
  • "It was really a reflective period for me, and I was asking myself all the questions, `Should I retire and move to the country and have lots of babies?' " she said. "That year off helped me realize I love what I do."
  • For Tyler, the town's location in the heart of South Carolina's tobacco country has been a blessing. "What's really great about this place is you can smoke almost anywhere," she said.

Let's hope she isn't smoking around her baby. Still, we're glad she's back and can't wait to see more of her especially in this new film The Strangers where she is costarring with Scott Speedman. Hopefully we'll get some pics of them on the set sometime soon. In the meantime, check out lovely Liv at the New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala back in September!
