That's the saddest part I think. She's not a kid, and here she is in rehab 'again' and we're pretty much at a consensus that it's just a matter of time until she falls off the wagon again. All this junk and she's not even 22.

I think she's entitled to do it. It would be a matter if she can handle it responsibly.

if she does end up hosting (which she will), she's making a clear decision to be around that amount of alcohol and that level of partying. nobody goes to vegas to stay sober and she knows that she easily succumbs to temptation.

bottom line. the girl knows what she's doing and she's making the decision to risk her sobriety in order to party and stay in the limelight.

She's entitled to do whatever she wants, but I think its an extremely bad idea. When you've just gotten out of rehab AGAIN, I think the worst thing you can do is to but yourself back in your old, unhealthy enviornment that sent you into rehab in the first place. I'm pretty sure the money issue could be easily resolved without lindsay actually having to go through with hosting her party. As long as she continues to particpate in this lifestyle, shes never going to recover.

What she needs is one of those alcohol monitoring anklets. Then I might believe she's actually making an effort.

i suppose i should say this would be an opportunity for her to test herself and prove to everyone that she's serious about her sobriety, but...well it just seems like too much, too fast.

No its not a good idea at all. but the fact of the matter is, Pure already paid her to host a party(her Bday party that she cancelled to go to rehab) She already took the money, and apprently spent it, so she really doesnt have a choice in the matter.

purrtykitty-"testing your sobriety" is never a good idea. because you most always will fail. I tried it ONCE and failed miserably...so now I stay far far away from all my old haunts. And that is how I know that I can do it. You dont test it by walking into a place that you know is going to be full of all those tempations. the REAL test is whether or not you can keep yourself OUT of those situations.
