Nicole scored the prize for PETA's worst dressed celeb this year. PETA slammed Nicole saying, “This pelt-wearing party girl is all animal skin and bones. She’s an incredible shrinking woman with the heart to match.” Ashley Olsen takes the second place crown, and Christina Ricci wins the bronze. Eva also made the list where PETA noted, “You’d think she’d be more sympathetic to the plight of rabbits considering the way she screws around like one on Wisteria Lane.” Ouch! What do you think? Who should have won PETA's worst dressed prize?

Moschino Jeans
Stuart Weitzman
Lowie
Nicole looks great.
1What about J-Ho? I'm convinced that woman skins the animals herself, she has so damn much of it.
2If a person wants to wear fur.....its their business.
3lol blondesugar, i agree.. i've been agreeing with a lot of what you've said lately ! Great minds think alike
4There should be an "All" option, POP. That's my vote. I love Nicole's sytle, but don't agree at all with wearing fur.
5fur is sick.
6We're on the same page, Paige! hahaha Didn't even mean to do that!
7BlondeSugar, very good point!!
8i feel like it really reflects on their character, i mean, these animals lived lives of pain misery for fashion! how can they possibly justify that?
9One more thing. I bet if they all put on a few pounds they wouldn't need to wear fur to warm them up.
10i cant believe 54 people voted that fur is ok. and here i thought we had an itelligent, educated, thoughtful bunch on here ... hmmm
11I personally don't like wearing fur. It makes me feel like I have a labrador slung over my back.
12agreed blue jeanie. there is absolutley no justifyin wearing fur in this day and age. reminds me of people that are so insecure they have to say "look at me look at me I can afford fur" pathetic
13Sweet C, they just aren't informed about what really goes on behind the scenes to get their glorified fur. What about JLo and Beyonce? If you want to know the truth, check out furisdead dot com. Pretty sad - wish I could do something to help!!!
~Bonnie~
14Why must people who decide to wear fur be considered unintelligent, uneducated, and unthoughtful Sweet C. Isn't it my right to do what I choose as is it yours. Why must anti fur people be so unforgiving? If you don't like it then don't wear it but critize me for liking it. That is truly an unitelligent and uneducated view
15I can't either, Sweet C...I honestly don't understand it. I'm disappointed in Ashley Olsen, because I really like her and Mary Kate, but wearing fur is wrong.
16I love animals as much as anyone but I still eat meat I don't wear fur currently but I am not opposed.
17JHo should win this, but PeTA doesn't care about her any more because her fashion label is going down the toilet along with her career
18Bonnie, thanks for that website. I am going to look at it now. I just found out that Burberry uses fur and is cruel to animals. I scratched that Burberry scarf off my Christmas list.
19Wrong is a value judgment that no one should make about someone elses lifestyle choices.
20i think that choosing to subject animals to lifetimes of torture for fashion is wrong. sentient beings do not deserve to be in pain forever.
21From furisdead .com
To kill the animals without damaging their fur, trappers usually strangle, beat, or stomp them to death. Animals on fur farms may be gassed, electrocuted, poisoned with strychnine, or have their necks snapped. These methods are not 100 percent effective and some animals "wake up" while being skinned.
It's hard to believe an animal lover wouldn't be opposed to this
22jaxon bc the animals arent just killed they are very very inhumanely killed and tortured for their fur. i beleive that if someone knows how fur is obtained and continues to wear fur is nothing short of a monster.
23thank you blonde sugar for the the article
24This is so depressing.
I want to go home and hug my pups and save all the animals in the world
25I personally think it's wrong and will continue thinking that no matter what. I know that if someone wants to wear it there's nothing I can do to stop them but hope that they see how sad it is...they are wearing the fur of a poor and helpless animal when they didn't really need it. But I know everyone has their own opinions, so I'm not trying to attack anyone who disagrees, only offering my point of view.
26Fur is just wrong. It is one thing if you live at the North Pole then obviously you need it but as a fashion statement it is just plain tacky!
27I agree with BlondeSugar.
28yes i cannot fathom how an so called "animal lover" can condone fur
29Thanks, Daisy. I hope not to sound like I'm attacking anyone or preaching. It's just my opinion.
30When you look at those old pictures of well dressed women
31from the 30s and 40s, everyone wore fur and it looked
really glamorous! Now, we know where furs come from
and it's not a pretty picture in my mind!
Unless you're living in the frozen tundra of the north,
fur is a want-not a need!
Those Olsen girls look awful 90% of the time and the
furs don't help-nothing could help!
i can't either, sweet c.
32You know what's funny is that back in 'the day' all we had to wear were animal skins. They kept the human race warm alive long enough for them to start complaining about it.
I look at it like I look at hunting: we don't need to do it anymore, but it's what we did for thousands of years to survive and if some people choose to continue that's their thing.
Furs are often passed down in families, as well - so wearing fur does not necessarily make that person "snooty."
I do know that what I wear is MY business and if someone were to spray paint MY coat because it was a dead animal, they would lose teeth!
33its called evolution butrfly but if someone wants to have a caveman mentality, well then I guess thats their sad choice lol
34True, butterfly, but now you can get in your car and drive to Bloomingdales and buy a coat. You don't need to wear fur to survive.
35I would never buy a fur coat, but I have one. It is an antique (like 80 yrs. old) beaver fur trenchcoat my mom gave me. And she has a fur coat that used to belong to her mom. I'd never buy a new one, but mine is a family heirloom. I never wear it b/c I live in SC, but I'm not just gonna throw it in the trash...
36BTW, I'm gonna be an environmental attorney when I grow up...
i don't think hunting can possibly be compared to wearing fur coats. hunters go out and shoot deer who have lived natural lives outside in the woods, and they die relatively quickly (if you are a good shot, always hit the lungs) and the meat is eaten. fur is from factory farms where the animals live in crowded cages and basically are tortured until the very end.
37That's what I'm saying - we don't need it to survive.
We also don't need junk food, TV, THE INTERNET, etc. They are all luxuries and some of have some and some of us don't. All I am saying is that it's a personal choice and nobody is right. Your love of woodland creatures does not make you better than someone who just bought a mink coat. Their coat does not make them better than you.
We just can't find enough to complain about, so we make stuff up.
PETA spends all their time trying to save freaking rabbits from becoming a coat...what about saving starving children or finding cures to diseases? REAL PROBLEMS.
38I have absolutely no problem with hunting, as long as you eat what you kill. Hunting is far more humane than the factory farms where most of our food ocmes from. An animal shot in the wild is far more healthy b/c tey have lived the lives they were meant to, not locked up in a cage or pen w/ 5000 of its cousins...
39Other people are out saving the world. Animals unfortunately cannot speak for themselves. Its unfortunate that you don't see this as a real problem.
40LOL BlueJeanie!! you read my mind...
41sentient beings living horrible, painful lives is a real problem too. PETA focuses on animals, amnesty international and unicef work with children. it's perfectly fine to have a non-profit dedicated to one cause, it's more effective that way.
42I hope this isn't a stupid question, but how does PETA know if they are wearing real or fake? I'm definitely not a fur connoisseur, so I don't know how easy it is to tell.
43i cant agree more blondesugar. SOMEONE has to be their voice. Pop was brave havin this pole its going to cause a sh*tstorm on here for sure
44BS are you vegan?
45And let me clarify, other things that are going on in the world are HORRIFIC, yes, I am not taking away from that one bit. But these animals need a voice. I don't always agree with PETA's approach, but I can't CAN'T imagine, my dogs being treated like this. I just can't. It's horrifying to me.
46I dont have a problem with people that wear fun, but I dont own any. I mean come on, we eat animals.
I am curious as to whether any of you anti fur ladies own any leather or suede. Isn't it basically the same thing? I am being sincere and not snarky and I would really like to know!
47I'm not Layla. And my dad hunts
Not that I necessarily agree with him on that.
48i have no problem with hunting either.
49i could never do it but i have no problem with hunters as long as they eat the meat and not let it hang outside to rot as a trophy (which i have see)
