Britney showed off her kinda (maybe) more "natural" looking extensions stopping by an outdoor play set store yesterday afternoon. Her two boys napped in the car with the nanny while Brit popped inside to shop for their future playground. It seems pretty vintage Britney with the simple white dress and cowboy boots — almost cute even. This morning is a big one for Brit, as she should be showing up in court to try to regain custody of SP and JJ. You all have only moderate faith that she will be there at all, but in case she does the court is setting up extra security for the event. Sounds like it has the potential to be an incredibly intense zoo, not that it's anything new for the Spears Federlines. With a few hiccups, Britney seems to have completed what the court asked of her, so I'm guessing she will get some custody back. What do you think will/should happen in court this morning?

If Britney had her kids, then that means the court monitor was present. Although I doubt she would be okay with being used as a baby sitter while Britney shopped, so perhaps a nanny too, which would make a crowded car if she brought her Mercedes (3 adult bodies and two car seats).
You'd think she could squeeze the shopping in during the many hours a week she doesn't have her kids. Is napping in the car considered quality time with mom?
Will be interesting to see if she gets more custody. Considering how long it took her to start complying, I would not be surprised if they judge wants to stay with the current arrangement a little longer.

16I really hope she doesn't get custody back. I would be very shocked if she did. I just don't think Britney has a maternal instinct and it seems to me that she wants the boys back for photo ops and to look good in the public's eye. Also, I just wish she would let her natural hair show. The fake hair isn't doing it for her.

24If she'd get rid of the hideous extensions and just go with her natural hair, she'd look so much better. Dress and boots aren't great, but better then some of her other outfits.
As for custody, I don't think she's had enough time to prove herself as a competent mother yet and I think it should stay the same for now, including being monitored.

She may love those kids and gave birth to them, but how does that alone make her a good mother? My biological mother gave birth to me, and I suppose loved me in her own way, but she was completely incapable of being a good mother - thus the reason why I was adopted. I think that's a silly assumption to make.

44I'm tired of hearing that she's must be a good mom just because she loves them. I'm sure Susan Smith and Andrea Yates loved their kids too. Doesn't mean the kids were better off in their care. Loving the kids doesn't always equate to being able to care for them properly and act in their best interest.

45Hi Woop :waves: I read about that on CNN.com, it broke my heart. I told my husband the story and said the exact same thing..she was moaning about how she was having such a horrible year while strangers were trying to revive her child.
In Britney's case, I just figured the nanny watches the kids anyway, so Britney could go online and buy whatever she needs. Same with getting gas and her Starbucks fixes...she can get someone to get this stuff for her. I'm not saying she has to become a hermit, but she needs to not seek out the most popular places and call up the paps and tell them to meet her there.
