Orlando Bloom channeled his inner sailor stopping off to pick up some things at an LA camera store yesterday afternoon. Though he may now have some new gadgets of his own, they're no match for the enormous video camera waiting for his exit from the store. Orlando seemed like he was in good spirits, though, and we just learned that he has reason to smile. According to TMZ, the DA has decided not to charge Orlando with a hit and run after his car accident a few weeks back. He should take his new girl out on the town to celebrate...but definitely be careful driving home.

I don't know. When I first saw the video, I was like what the hell, why is he walking away!? I know they said it's because he was trying to avoid the paparazzi, but come on, someone could be seriously hurt!

14Thank you hotstuff. I don't care so much about what's happening with the paparazzi in this pic, it's the other incident that concerns me. I like Orlando, but watching the original video had me a bit disappointed. He was totally just casually walking away, and it was the paparazzi who told him he best return to the accident scene. He seemed like he didn't have a care in the world...just seemed SO odd to me to walk away in this situation.

24It's absolutely sickening that he didn't get a hit-and-run. I mean it's pretty darn clear from the video that he tried to run away. I used to think he was an okay guy, but not anymore. He's a total pig.
25God some of you people are pathetically judgmental. I got into a car accident before where a chain of events occurred causing me to ram into another car and I was so shaken up I couldn't move or speak. I didn't even get out of my car to see if the people I crashed into were ok. My heart was pounding and I couldn't think straight. After a while I got myself together and took care of everything. Am I a pig, coward or hideous human being because I got overwhelmed by a situation and initially panicked? We don't know what was going through Orlando's head but the thought that he was trying to run away with a bunch of cameras following him makes no sense. He knew it was all being caught on tape. Do we even know if he initially knew his friend was hurt?
